I would give him zero stars, if it was an option.
Once he got my money he stopped showing up on time (I mean by hours and hours or even days). Today makes 5 times he’s not arrived to FIX the work (paint) that was done so poorly that it’s peeling all over my house after only 3 months!
He’ll schedule work for Thursday or Friday and then he’ll «need payment to pay his workers before the weekend» and never show up again. …and won’t answer his phone.
The owner, José, would tell me they’d be at my home at 8:30. 8:30 comes and goes and when I’d call he’d always have an excuse and say they’d be here in an hour or 2. 2+ hours later and he just doesn’t answer his phone or show up.
Trust me. Don’t hire him.

I loved everything about the service, and the prices were reasonable. I called about a leaking water heater and tacked on a couple other plumbing issues I was having (kitchen sink backing up when I ran the garbage disposal, a bathtub that never worked). They were on time (early) both times I met with them, they were honest about what I needed to take care of now vs. what could wait, they stuck to their quoted prices, they cleaned up after themselves and were very professional and pleasant to work with. All the work that was done exceeded my expectations. What I wasn’t prepared for is that they don’t take credit cards. I wish I had known that up front.

I received a quote for a bunch of stuff that needed to be done. I thought the quote was way too high, so I asked him to come down in price. He responded with a $ 75 reduction, and indicated he could start the work the next Saturday. I agreed. On Saturday, we stayed home and waited for him. When it got to be early afternoon, I tried emailing him and texting him. I got no response. He never showed up, and I have never heard from him again. I hired another handyman and got the work done $ 150 cheaper that the revised quote.
