Antney’s Grub

They didn’t deliver 1 of the 2 orders of wings and made the sandwich incorrectly. It was ordered as a wrap. I called and they will bring out the missing order, but in the meantime, they told me not to eat the sandwich because they want it back. I think they have a lot nerve asking for it back. What are they going to do, give it to someone else? So, my friends and family get to eat, but I have to wait to eat so i can return a sandwich? The food was ok, but wouldn’t order again.

I hate to complain, but I had to write this review. I ordered from Antney’s Grub for the first time tonight, and just feel disappointed. I ordered through Grub Hub. All I ordered was an order of chicken fingers, the Antney’s fries w/​homemade sauce, and a pepsi.
I specifically wrote/​requested that I want honey mustard with the chicken, and they gave me BBQ sauce. I ordered a Pepsi but they gave me a can of fruit punch. If they didn’t have honey mustard and pepsi (which I am sure they do), they could have just called me and asked what I wanted instead! I just don’t get it. The Antney’s fries say they are seasoned but they tasted like regular old fries. Not worth the $ 3.50, even with the side of sauce. The sauce was good.
Overall, I just feel disappointed that I spent my money here. At least I know now.

I went to pops water ice then for some reason i say let me get quick sandwich !!! I quit !! 3 times not a good experience not gone back !!

I did not write the other post degrading this place. My account was somehow hacked. I attempted to remove and have contacted Unilocal to have it removed. I attempted to but could not. I have no issues with this place.

The onion chips are so good and ‘Antneys Sauce’ is the best onion dipping sauce I ever tried. It comes with a lot of their stuff and I can see why. It’s so good. Thin cutlets and everything tasted fresh. I would recommend to anyone who likes different delivery other than typical wings pizza or chinese to try them out. Free delivery too which is a plus especially when using grubhub. They have a nice menu selection without too much of everything like a lot of these other sandwich delivery places. Can’t wait to try them again.

I took some friends from Maryland over there on a Saturday night when they came for a visit. They loved it! One of my friends got a chicken cheesesteak, and I can’t remember what her hubby got. I was pregnant and due that day, so my eyes were bigger than my stomach, but I did eat my tuna hoagie, my cheese fries and my dessert! Even if it took two and a half sittings!

I try to reserve 5 stars for extra special places but based on some recent orders from antneys i really could think of no reason to dock them any stars. I order delivery and it is so fast that the track my grub feature from grubhub is
favorite is chicken cutlet sammie with rabe and provolone. They serve a thin cutlet which is very risky, overcook it even a tiny bit and it is destroyed. I have yet to have this happen from antneys, the cutlets have always been cooked perfectly and the brocolli rabe has been bright green and fresh tasting. just wish that the provolone was sharp not mild but thats minor. I got the fries before and they were good but i really enjoy the mozz sticks, they are the breaded variety which i prefer very much over the battered kind. I think that antneys has found its way onto my regular order from rotation. good job fellas, doing south philly proud and stealing some business from barrels.

I order from Antney’s at least once a month, because the food is excellent. Great sandwiches, awesome apps, and huge variety. I love the onion chips and the frab fries and the meatball sandwiches and chicken cutlet AND the cheesesteaks. The only negative is that this food is so good that I order here entirely too much (at least once a month was a cheap, deceitful way of putting how much I eat food from here).

Been here many times. Food is good. Meatballs are great. Burgers are home made.

I’ve heard good things about this place and decided to have a go. The food was good and was delivered in a timely manner. However, one very weird thing struck me as odd.
As I opened my front door, I noticed the delivery guy was chewing on a fork and that the plastic bag with my food inside had been stretched open (the handles were knotted together). Did this guy take the fork out of my bag to satisfy an immediate oral fixation?
