I was very upset they used pork in my chicken fried rice. I do not eat pork and let them know very kindly but they sprinkler it on everything!

This place was horrible, and I am not usually one to be overly dissatisfied enough to leave an awful review. The fried rice tasted like it was re-fried a hundred times. The sesame chicken was almost all breading and no chicken, even the breading was overly crunchy and the sauce was terrible. There were only 3 pieces of broccoli with the combo, and their beef/string bean combo was equally terrible. The string beans looked strange and wilted. The cheese wontons had a faint smell of a dirty sponge after biting into them. There were no napkins or utensils in the bag, and to top it off one of the fortune cookies had a blank fortune in it. They were even cheap and shoddy with that. Incredibly disappointing experience, I will never order from here again.

I have been a long time customer of this restaurant. The last few times I ordered from here though the food was terrible– greasy, not cooked properly, not the right taste. I e-mailed them twice to let them know that I was unhappy with the order and also mentioned the past few orders. They ignored my e-mails saying they never got it, but they have no trouble getting your order. Then I called. The guy was not going to discuss it and said he would call me back. He never did. I called again the following day and he tried to say he called but there was no answer. That was also not true. He refused to do anything about the food or the money I spent on this inedible food. Do not waste your money here. These people have no loyalty to their good customers. Go to China Wok. Much better food, less expensive and nicer people.

I believe 1st impressions are crucial… I live in Mt airy and was looking for a good clean chinese store because every now and then I get the urge for it but would rather stay away completely if it’s not up to par. This place was a pleasant surprise! I previously bought chinese from panda garden but after a very bad experience I needed a replacement… I’ll be sticking with this place. .as I type I’m enjoying one of the best egg foo young in the city. .the gravy is excellent and they give it to you on a separate container than your patties and rice, which is great because you can determine how much you’d like to use. .genius lol I added broccoli to my patties and told no problem upon request. Customer service is great. The spring rolls were flavorful but not as crispy as I’d like . Only con, they didn’t have much variety of juice available, just soda But I’ll definitely return :)

Very good take out food! The shrimp lo mein, general tso shrimp and general tso chicken are outstanding! They even have cheese steak egg rolls! What a concept. I travel a lot and have to say a very good place near Main Street!!!

When we first walked in we ordered, and they seemed to want us to eat out and pushed us to order to-go but we wanted to dine-in so we stayed. We ordered some chicken, egg rolls, rice, and some spring rolls. First of all, they do not have any sauces on the tables. If you want sauce, you have to walk up to the counter and take some gross old soy sauce and sweet and sour. Both sauces were horrible, but it was all they had. They also made us walk up to the counter to get silverware. I thought this place advertises as a dine-in place? There was a complete lack of hospitality. Our food was old and hard, especially the rice which we opted out of immediately following a taste. The chicken was layered in fat and we didn’t even touch it. Some of the rolls we got were covered in grease and the egg rolls tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. After we ate there I felt incredibly sick. I would never come back here. Horrible customer service, horrible food. Just bad.

Terrible Service. Rude. Dishonest. We walked in and ordered to go, the woman at the counter too our order while talking on the phone. Maybe this is where the order messed up… We only received 4 of the 6 meals we ordered, when we got home we realized it and had to drive all the way back in the snow. Got there and she said, «no I gave it to you, you lie!» OK, no, you didn’t give it to us, because I don’t have it. So we ended up leaving without the food we paid for. It really wasn’t worth it at that point. The quality of the food was terrible. Also she would not honor the coupon in the menu that they gave out. Seriously? Worst take-out experience ever…

I kept getting half full containers of food, so I asked them to be sure everything was full and I also requested no extra sauce packets. I received even smaller portions and it was clearly scraped off the bottom of the tray, it was grey mush. Oh, and nearly 20 sauce packets, AND my drinks were missing. I’d ordered from here multiple times and spent a lot of money, as it’s not very cheap, and I did not deserve this treatment. Never again.

I order from here all the time. It’s exactly what you want from a corner Chinese restaurant. Also just received and order with a mistake and they fixed it by sending out the correct noodles very quickly.

We recently moved to the area and this was our first sampling of chinese take out in the area. Well, it left much to be desired. We found the sauce the spare ribs were in far too sweet, the fried rice was bland and didnt have much eye appeal. The quart of house special wonton soup we purchased has only 3 wontons in it which was very disappointing. Unfortunately we think in reviewing you choices for Chinese food in the area, you should pass on this one.

Deviated from my normal Roxborough Chinese place for some take out from here. Got the C1 General Tso chicken combo which is a barometer for any Chinese restaurant. The fried rice was a notch below my normal place with not a whole lot to it. The entrée was on par but tasted more like orange chicken. there was a couple of pieces of broccoli in there and little spice to the dish. Excellent egg rolls but the spring rolls weren’t anything special. They used all white meat chicken was great but as a whole nothing to write home about. Got the job done though.

Slightly better than a typical corner city Chinese restaurant. The prices are inexpensive and the food has been consistently good. Love their dumplings!

Best take-out Chinese in the Manayunk/East Falls/Roxborough area that I know of. Most of these places are pretty average but we’ve always enjoyed every dish that’s come from here. One stand out is the hot and sour soup which is some of the best I’ve ever had. Plus, they actually use tofu in it so my girlfriend is a vegetarian can enjoy it too. We also like that they serve their meals in reusable plastic contaienrs instead of styrofoam.
