Fantastic breakfast — we had the sweet potato Benny. The flavors were eloquently orchestrated. Not only was the food enjoyable but the atmosphere. My husband and I sat outside to enjoy Philadelphia. Many of the local residents and owner were enjoying the morning and chatting with us about the wonderful neighborhood.

Our favorite brunch place in Philadelphia! Snuggled in the middle of Northern liberties, café la Maude offers amazing French Lebanese cuisine. Our favorite thing about this place is the variety of items on their menu. All their food is amazing and flavored to perfection!

Came here for the first time a few weeks ago. I’ll definitely be back. The gypsy eggs were so good. And I can’t remember the name of the waffles we had but there was Nutella! The coffee was even delicious. A tiny bit Expensive for brunch but you get what you pay for.

My food at Café la Maude was very good. but the wait was not. As a party of 2 we waiting nearly 2 hours to get a table. The food was excellent(as it is in many other philly brunch spots) but nothing that completely blew me away. I can’t see myself spending another 2 hours of my Sunday morning waiting in line to eat here again. I guess I just don’t get the hype! I will however get a latte to go because it was the best one I’ve ever had!

This is my favorite brunch spot in the world. Everything on the menu is so TASTY. Presentation is EXCELLENT. I ordered: 1.Eggs Benedict– salmon, cream cheese, avocado 2.Berrylicious French toast –Mascrapone cheese Those are my go-to options but in the past I have also ordered the 3. gypsy eggs that was also amazing The atmosphere resembles a French café. The crowd is amazing. The owner is super friendly and you will most likely be friends and will recognize you the next time you come in. Outdoor seating and Pet friendly! Great community feel. Great food.Great brunch of all times.

Brunch here is perfection! So fresh, tasty and full of flavor. Another spot in philly that I’ve been to so many times. Crème brûlée oatmeal is so creamy and topped with the crunchy caramelized sugar. The foul Madame is another great choice. The crossiants are fresh daily and the macaroons are heavenly. The service is fantastic. The owner is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The presentation of every dish is beautiful. The coffee is fantastic. It’s a just a tad pricey but well worth it. There’s outdoor seating and the interior looks small when you walk it but it opens up in the back. I’ve rarely had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table regardless of the time I walk in probably because it’s right next to honeys and they have such a long line that this place gets overlooked. Hidden gem in NoLibs!

Café La Maude has never failed or disappointed me since Day 1. The couple that owns this café are so friendly and personable. My BF& I don’t go as often as we would like, but they ALWAYS remember us. It can get pretty busy, but the wait is absolutely worth it. I have probably tried almost everything on the menu and I have enjoyed each and every dish I’ve had so far. The one simple food item on their menu that stands out the most, is their Chicken Sandwich. I’m telling you, TRYIT! The owner shared with my BF& I recently that it’s a recipe from his wife’s side of the family from Lebanon. It tastes so unique, you wont find it anywhere else. By far, my favorite brunch spot!

I love brunch and I love Café La Maude. This lovely little BYOB is always bustling but we’ve never had to wait too long for a table. The neighborhood is cute so taking a little stroll while you’re waiting in sunny weather is nice. Once seated, the service is friendly and the atmosphere charming. There’s an excited yet casual vibe in the place that perfectly accompanies brunch. The menu has a lot to choose from, from sweet, desert type dishes to the more savory side of brunch. I am a fan of both but the Saumon Fumé a cheval has so far been the best thing I’ve had there. I could eat it every(late) morning. Paired with a cup of their café au lait, it’s the perfect way to begin a Saturday or Sunday for me. I have no doubt that everything on the menu would be good and look forward to proving myself right. The only negative things about Café La Maude is that I don’t live closer and that they’re not open later for this night owl.

Tucked away on a residential block on Reno Street, its cute portrayal of a French café, made it all that appealing to go in. First hearing aboyt this place by a local Philly boxer who frequents the venue, I thought we’d check it out. First off, everyone was very hospitable. As soon as we walked up, we were greeted by a gentleman who seated us immediately. We are a family of four(with two small children); they sat us at a small 2 person single table, Not good. We decided to pull the single table next to us over. Which gave us way more room for all the glasses, silverware, condiments and plates we had. They didn’t mind us doing that. The menu, not appearing too French at first glance appeared to be more Mediterranean, in my opinion. But there was a french flair. Overall food was tasty w/excellent presentation. It get really packed, especially on a Sunday, so my suggestion — go early.

I am in philly for three days and my high school bestie took me to this place. It was very popular. We went there around 1:30pm and there was a line. They have quite a few food options, from omelette, egg Benedict to small steak and sweet toasts. Frankly speaking, they did food in a different way and I can see them trying to be creative. BUT, I’m from Montréal hahaha, so with all the good brunch places there, this place could only deserve a four star. I don’t know. I just feel like something is missing. The name of the place is in French and the names of the dishes are sometimes French too, but I think they are missing something French in their dishes. Well maybe I’m too picky about food.

I love this place. I got their famous Parisian Za and mmm the crispy croissant with goat cheese and ham. Rightfully seasoned potatoes. Good salad & any choice of egg which I chose ‘over easy’ and fresh fruitas. The croissant with goat cheese and ham really melts in your mouth as soon as they enter. That warm sensation that glorifies your taste buds. It is simply fantastic. This is coming from a person who doesn’t like goat cheese. I also got the pomegranate juice, which was also satisfactory. I really wish this place was closer to my house.

BRUNCH, BRUNCH, BRUNCH! They have a huge menu and everything is delicious. Some say its a little pricey, but it is well worth it! The food was very flavorful and a decent-sized portion. The coffee and espresso were also great. If you go during brunch hours, prepare for a wait. They have a few tables outside that are perfect for the spring and summer. Definitely worth a try, so check it out — you won’t be disappointed!

Hands down the best brunch spot in No Libs! Every time I come I order the Parisan Za and boyfriend orders the sweet potato Benny. Haven’t even tried other options on the menu because these are both SO delish! They also have a wide selection of macaroons for a sweet dessert after brunch or to go. The prices are a bit steep compared to other brunch spots in the neighborhood but it’s well worth it every now and then. Service is good but be prepared to wait for a table on weekends!

Café La Maude is amazing, one of the best brunch places in the city for sure. With a unique cuisine, and some of the friendliest service I’ve ever had, Café La Maude is highly recommended. We were personally seated by the owner, who also came by to ask us how our meal was. I came on Good Friday at 11, prime brunch place, and the place was full. We were told it was a 10 minute wait, but we were seated in less than 5. I ordered the N. Liberties, and my boyfriend ordered the Petit Steak. The N. Liberties was absolutely amazing: pita topped with hummus, Lebanese sausage and onions, avocado, and runny sunnyside up eggs. It also came with a side of potatoes, green salad, and fruit salad. For $ 18, it was incredibly filling and SO delicious. My boyfriend liked his dish as well, but agreed that mine was better. I always mean to save room for their pastries, but I’m always too full by the end of the meal. I’ll definitely be back for those — and more!

I’ve became a frequent here ever since the first time I’ve tried their brunch. Their portions of food is just amazing. What brunch spots do you know offered you so much on a plate? Not too many from what I experienced. After trying out a few dishes here my favorite dish would be the Parisian Za. It’s an open faced crossiant with ham and brie cheese on top. Gosh, the way the Brie cheese melts in my mouth it’s just so scrumptious. My boyfriend and I come here a lot so they know who we are and always make sure our food and service meets our expectations. I love café la Maude because they take brunch to another whole level . They renovated the back. Instead of having high seats that fits two people at a table they now turned it into a booth. Very convenient because they sure do get busy especially when the weekends come.

I LOVE this place. It’s just FAB! For a little more embellished breakfast & brunch, this would take the charm. The welcoming service and staff makes my morning even more delightful. Menu is extensive with plenty of offerings and pleasing food presentation. Highly recommended.

This place is the BEST! Greeted by the owner & friendly staff! The service is on point here. Refilled water & coffee as soon as it was half empty. The food is delicious, creative & filling! We took the kids and they asked if they could come back every weekend! I had the quatre fromage omelette my husband had the pumpkin, apple, and pecan pancake special. Full of crazy flavors that blend perfectly together. Is it strange that I just left and want to go back?

Cute brunch place located in fishtown aka northern liberties. I came here on a Sunday with a group of people and we waited ~30min or less but I saw the line just growing longer as time went on. We came around ~11:30am. Get there early Sunday to get a table otherwise there’s usually an hour wait usually. I got the Parsian Zá($ 17) — Open-face croissant topped with goat cheese wrapped in ham and sprinkled with some avocado and caramelized onions. Served with two eggs(your choice of style). It also comes with a side of potatoes and mini salad. The eggs were average but the French ham with goat cheese inside tastes really good!!! Excellent combination of flavors!!! I really liked this dish. Everyone else I was with loved their dishes too. I tried a bite of the steak and it was super juicy and flavorful as well. It’s a decent amount and I was pretty full when I left. I really like their French Lebanese brunch concept. The presentation for all the dishes were really nice and the food quality is really good! I also got Pomegranate Juice– Fresh!!! This was really good!!! On the sweeter side just fyi but SOSOGOOD. They also put it into a to-go cup if you can’t finish it… I thought this was really nice. For $ 3.25 you get a decent amount of juice! If they sold this juice separately in gallons I’d buy it! TLDR: Great brunch place in Philly! Try the freshly squeezed juices!

This place is a nice little brunch spot that doesn’t get a huge brunch line. Besides the food, that’s one of the main reasons i come here. A nice sized french lebanese spot, but it’s mostly french The petit steak is delicious with a great sauce. I only wish there was more steak, it’s comes chopped on top of potatoes with an egg and some type of sauce over it. There’s also a bit of fruit on the side. The macaroons are also pretty good, I’m a fan of the passion fruit.
