Visited for the first time this past weekend and it was amazing! Perfect spot for a GNO! Drinks were amazing, all the food was delicious and atmosphere excellent. The prices are reasonable. The bbq chicken quesadillas were FABULOUS!

I came here for brunch on Mother’s Day sans the mother. The first thing that caught my eye was the fact that they had swinging basket seats on the 2nd floor. Now, that was my first choice of seating, but a friend wanted to try it out, and well it actually is sort of fun. However, I recommend against them if you’re on a date or something, since they can be sort of awkward. Anyways, the décor and overall theme of the restaurant is nice. Our waitress brought some complimentary palate cleansing concoction which was some sort of mojito thing that was alright, but I could have done without.

I was in Philly this past weekend, with my husband, and two of our good friends. The boys headed over to BB& T in Camden for a concert, so the gals decided to make it a girls night. Our first stop was, Continental. We walked in and were greeted by the hostess. She informed us that there was approx. a 15 minute wait. She handed us our buzzer and we headed to the bar for a cocktail. We each ordered an extra dirty martini, extra olives. Upon first sip, I thought to myself, hmm, it has an interesting taste. I didn’t think anything of it at first. After about sip 5 or 6, I asked my friend how her’s was, and she agreed, it had an «interesting» taste. It had a sweet taste. We are thinking, that the shaker, may not have been completely cleaned out and there was some left over alcohol/mixer from a previous drink. We called over the waitress, informed her of the«odd» taste and she without hesitation, took our drinks and made us new ones! In the meantime, our table was ready, we left the bar, and she even delivered the drinks to our table. About 15 minutes later, she came back to make sure they were better. I thought she handled the situation, like a champ! Ive been in situations, where bartenders/wait staff get very upset when you complain/send things back. We weren’t too hungry, so we ordered two apps and skipped the meal! We had to save some room for a philly cheesesteak! We ordered the french onion soup dumplings and the hummus. The hummus was good. Not to garlicky, and came with a ton of pita and fresh sliced cucumbers! The dumplings, oh my heaven! I LOVE french onion soup, and these dumplings were out of this world. Just imagine french onion soup, wrapped in a dumpling, fried and then smothered in cheese! Heaven on a plate! Continental has an interesting atmosphere! Packed for a Saturday night! Lots of groups, mostly Bachelorette parties! Staff was very nice, service was on point and the apps were had were delicious! In town, give it a shot! Enjoy!

Continental Mid-town will always have a special place in my heart. See, last fall, I went here on a first date, and as you all know: Finding a «perfect» 1st date spot is hard. I impulsively chose this rooftop lounge/patio — and I left it satisfied with the upscale, yet laid-back atmosphere, and their signature Astronaut. So raise a glass(or a grilled Thai chicken skewer) — Yummy. While I can’t recommend many items to try– for obvious reasons ;) I can still give some tips to make sure you have a good quality time. First off, it’s a Stephen Starr restaurant. So, the expectations are high and the chances of any disappointments are kinda low. Unless if something terribly, terribly bad has gone wrong. Another facts about this popular, casual and romantic restaurant: — Location. Location. Location. Located in the heart of the city, Rittenhouse Square to be more specific. — You’ll love, I mean LOVE their trendy swinging cage chairs. Personally, no matter how old I am, if I see an open swing, I run for it. — Other than being one of the most romantic spots in the city, it is also a great place to hang out with friends on the couch-like booths, or around the fireplace. Beware, it can be a bit noisy and rowdy. — Their Global tapas menu is AMAZING! — Hitting Happy hour? Awesome. Budget-friendly and appetizing. — Full Dinner? Also, inexpensive, and the menu actually offers something delicious for every taste. — Bonus: You don’t need to really dress up to fit in. — As if all that weren’t enough, tone more time, their famous Astronaut is a killer. What are you waiting for? Go now! Four Solid Unilocal

A really fun place that’s perfect for groups! The food here is alright — they do a lot of fusion food and I found it to be on the salty side in general, but had a great time and definitely plan to come back.

I had gone to The Continental in Atlantic City numerous times. So, I was super excited when my friends recommended stopping here while we were in Philly. We split a bunch of plates, which is my favourite to do. I got the Rad Na, which is just a huge bowl of noodles and lettuce. So good. My other favourite dish is the cheesesteak eggrolls. Then we had the french onion soup dumplings, which were quite good. Then the lobster mac and cheese, which I’ve definitely had better elsewhere but still decent. Lobster was slightly overcooked. May just focus on more Rad Na next time! Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely return!

There’s two locations, olde city and center city. The one in center city is bigger and has a rooftop bar. The décor inside both is retro and very cool. The center city location has these wicker chairs hanging from the ceiling, it’s cool looking but not very comfortable. Brunch — food is ok. Not mind blowing but decent. The drinks are where it’s at. I came here with my bestie and she had this bacon Bloody Mary which I got to try and it was awesome, made with bacon vodka. YUM! Rooftop bar — The center city location has a rooftop bar with a separate entrance past the main entrance. The ambience is really nice and modern. There’s a interior and exterior portion up there. Interior part is air conditioned which is a must on the hot and humid summer nights of philly. The drinks are pricey for philly standards, about $ 10 each but the cocktails are good. It’s usually really packed on a nice night out so get there early.

My first Continental experience was in the Atlantic City Pier Shops location and they made me a huge fan of Steven Starr. I loved their calamari salad and blondie dessert so when a friend asked to meet up for brunch at the Continental, I did not hesitate. It was a busy Sunday(graduations were going on) but we were a party of 2 and were seated upstairs in the swing basket chairs, which was super cute. We looked around to see what everyone else was ordering, but I already knew I wanted to relive the amazingness of the calamari salad. My friend got the belgian waffle. The salad, while huge and full of calamari, was not as good as I remembered it. I don’t know what changed, or if the calamari should’ve been crispier, or the dressing did not stand out as it use to, but I was not impressed. The décor was great though as was the attentive service.

Had a nice little rooftop brunch with the fam here for Mother’s Day. The servers were so helpful with my family’s requests and I have to give them major points for that. We’re an annoying bunch(sorrynotsorry). They don’t take rezzies on the roof, but there was plenty of room up there for a lot of diners. Though the interior hasn’t changed much since their heyday of 10 years ago-ish, it’s still a cute looking spot. Here is the eats rundown… Huevos Rancheros — Solid presentation and delicious, but on the smaller side when compared to the other dishes French onion soup dumplings — Avoid at all costs. Conceptually great, but the execution is poor. Asian chicken salad — HUGE portion. Solid though. Def go splitsville with a friend. #solcialite — Pretty awesome champagne/vodka cocktail. Sweet(blueberry + lemon) but very drinkable. BLT — Nice sized portion and a pretty solid version of this classic. Lots of turkey and bacon. Even though the area is now packed with fresh eateries, I would come back here for a chill brunch and some drank. You could do better, buy you can most definitely do worse. Side note: Their website is possibly the most annoying thing I’ve encountered in 2016 thus far. It pops up into a mini pop up… which then becomes the browsing site(WHY!!!). Oh, and non one like website music. Come on now. Web 101.

Continental never seems to fail. I came here on a Friday night for a girls night and we had such a great time. From the awesome cocktails, delicious food, and great atmosphere, it was a great time. This location is 3 floors, first floor has some tables and also what seems to be a lounge area towards the bar, second floor a bunch of tables as well, with tables that have chairs that hang from the ceiling… not sure if I can actually eat on a moving chair but def cool, and the third floor(accessible through the first floor) is a roof top bar. When we arrived we were seated right away. The menu here is all about sharing! Granted, you don’t have to share but its better that way. We ordered the crispy calamari salad, chicken lettuce wraps, and lobster mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! The lobster mac and cheese was honestly beyond words, it was rich in flavor and full of lobster. Crispy calamari salad was also amazing. Lettuce wraps I would pass up on next time but im not saying theyre bad. the menu here is just loaded with other awesome options. This is a great choice for dinner! you cant go wrong here.

I have not eaten at Continental. Consider this 4 star review solely as an indicator of the upstairs bar. When entering, head all the way to the back on the ground floor. There, you will find an elevator. Take it to the top to find a nice classy bar with a somewhat hidden feel to it. The crowd is generally 30s/40s. The drink selection is great, with a variety of beer, wine, and cocktails. The setup is conducive for winter or summer, as it is somewhat open to the outdoors in certain areas, but with heat lamps for the cold dark nights in February. Definitely worth checking out if looking for a different style bar!

I really enjoy Continental especially for lunch and happy hour. The atmosphere, retro décor, and location are all what makes it such a go-to spot. But for dinner, you should probably chose somewhere else that is more worth the money. Second floor has swinging chairs, and there is also a rooftop patio perfect for the spring/summer nights. All of their food is good, but sometimes you want a little more from some items. I don’t believe that this place is tapas unless you only order from the one side of the menu, because everything else such as the salads, entrees, and sandwiches are all enough food for one person to have their own dish. I’m a big fan of the sandwiches and salads, especially the Crispy Calamari Salad and the Asian Chicken Salad. They are decent portions and tastes really good. The Rad Na Thai Noodles and Lobster Mac & Cheese are always a hit with the people that I usually go here with as well. Happy hour here is probably the best thing here. Drinks and appetizers range from $ 5 – 10. I always get the cheese steak eggrolls and the Twizzle drink if I’m here for happy hour. The Twizzle drink taste legit like candy!

This seems to be a favorite for many co-workers when on layover here in Philly, so naturally we had to check it out. Have to say I wasn’t impressed with the food… Service was pleasant, the ambiance was cool in a very kitschy way. Swinging chairs(which were fun but kind of hard for me to eat in) I blame it on my short legs, lol! I would like to check out the rooftop bar though.

Continental Mid-town is one of my solid Center City go-to places. My coworkers and I frequent here for work lunches and I’ve also stopped in for happy hour cocktails, as well as one time for dinner. The décor obviously has that Starr spunk complete with hanging wicker chairs, sky blue cadillac seating, and even some funky retro shapes in the upstairs bar. My lunch time faves are usually the Asian chicken salad or the Naanwich, both are awesome! Always love the retro cocktails, the Twizzle is my normal choice. The one time I came here for a business dinner, I didn’t realize it was mostly shared plates but that totally ended up working! I can’t remember all that we ate, but do remember the Brussels sprouts being awesome! Never had a super amazing experience here, but the food is great and great service as well. Definitely will continue to be one of my choice locations for sure. Now I just have to eventually make it up to the rooftop bar!

Continental Mid-town is one of my favorite, downtown happy hour spots. They have $ 5 speciality cocktails until 7 pm. My favorite cocktail is the champagne-o-Rama, which has champagne and vodka with grenadine sugar on the rim. I also enjoy the twizzle. I’m not sure what’s in it, but it’s fruity and refreshing. They also have $ 5 snacks. The cheesesteak egg rolls are the bomb. I’m also a fan of their quesadillas and pretzel bites. The waitstaff is super awesome, despite crazy happy hour traffic. They accidentally overcharged my friend whose birthday we were celebrating, so they brought her out a dessert. I’ve also been here for dinner. I sat upstairs in one of the tables with the swings. It was fun to be able to swing while overlooking the restaurant. I ordered the lobster mac n cheese and Brussels sprouts. My tastebuds where having a ball. They have one of my favorite martinis in town. It paired nicely with the meal. They have a rooftop patio, an upstairs bar and dining area that overlooks downstairs, and they have their main, open floor. I love the trendy, 50s feel of this restaurant. Come check it out!

Went with several friends and had drinks on the rooftop. It’s nice being able to go to a rooftop place and enjoy being outside in the city. You can take the elevator in the back of the restaurant to get up to the roof and there is also a side door that enters right by the elevator. We were seated at the inside portion of the roof but they had the big windows on the side open so there was a nice breeze. We were able to sit on the big semi circle couches around a retro fireplace. The service was very good. The ambience is pretty cool and retro throughout the entire restaurant. They have swinging chairs upstairs which are cool if you get to sit in them. The drinks were a little pricey, but they had a big selection of interesting cocktails and wines. Haven’t had the food here so I can’t comment on that, but the drinks and ambience of the rooftop area are worth going for.

What do you do when you end up off the next day and kid free? Impromptu date night! Me and the guy ended up here literally after just getting in the car, going, and finding a sweet parking spot. This time around continental was far from dead and the décor was definitely more modern and up to date. At around 8:45 on a Thursday night this place was super packed! I love how I saw a great mix of people. From families to couples and everything in between. The wait time wasn’t bad and while sitting at the bar the bartender was very friendly, and offered great feedback and service even though it was crowded. When we finally got seated I had been dying to try those funky«swing» chairs. Let’s just say that it satisfied my need to move a lot but if I had been eating a lot, it could have been messy. Maybe they’re meant for people with longer legs haha I had some edamame and we shared some shoe string fries(which are enormous, let me repeat, ENORMOUS) both of those were wonderfully seasoned . Malik had the ribs and although he loved them, felt like they were definitely too salty. Try the«socialite», it’s a champagne cocktail that hits the spot. Waitstaff was very polite and on point. No qualms there and did I mention that they have a gluten free menu? SCORE! Somehow the fries aren’t on there but I was assured that they were in fact gluten free.

I STILL love Continental. Makes me feel like such a cosmopolitan woman. Winky face! Anyhoo — the open faces quesadillas are gone; have been for a while. Their French toast(brunch menu) has taken a serious downgrade with the the cereal flakes crusting the outside. Why?! I was pretty disappointed about that. It’s cereal. The crunch texture will never hold up under syrup. But my new favorites on the menu are: Beef Kofta; Crispy Brussel Sprouts; Fried Shrimp & Calamari — lobster mac will always be a go-to. I’m not a huge fan of the Korean pork tacos as they’re a little messy, not a fan of corn tortillas and the grease got on my dress, girl — my dress! I blame my poor coordination and that swinging basket chair thingy. Service has always been good and systematic. They’ve included the faces of their staff on the back of the menu — which is mostly awkward for the diner… Especially if your elbow’s on their nose while you’re waiting for your drink to arrive. I don’t know if they’re attempting to humanize servers to gain better tips or provide free head shots for prospective actors. Nonetheless, the trick to a tapas is that if it’s good; you’ll leave with extra pounds and a lighter wallet. You’ve been warned.

Continental is almost a default place for me to go to when I think about brunch and don’t want to have to wrestle my way to a table but still want decent food. There’s a lot of seating but for some reason I always get seated upstairs. Its Steven Starr restaurant so it has very Starr décor including swing chairs. And upscale diner experience. I love the eggs Benedict and pancakes. No frills and fulfills my cravings. If you are in the mood for everything get the Big Bang that comes with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and a stack of pancakes. Yum. My favorite dessert here is the blondie with malted vanilla ice cream! Brunch prices are fair but cocktails can add up. Rooftop bar is super fun during warmer weather.

This place is awesome! It has the feel of a trendy feel of a lounge, but with the cozy feel of a diner. The food options here are made to share, so bring some friends! They have 2 floors for seating and a rooftop deck too! I haven’t had the chance to go on the rooftop deck yet but dining on the second floor was great. It overlooks the downstairs dining room and the layout is fun and hip. There are swinging chairs hanging from the ceiling for groups of 2. For my meal, my sister and I got the Korean Pork Tacos, Szechuan Shoestring Fries, Jumbo Lump Crab Pad Thai and Lobster Mac and Cheese. I wasn’t too crazy about the shoestring fries because they were very thin and I felt like I was eating something people make to decorate entrée dishes. It does come with a mustard drizzled on top, so if you’re not a mustard fan, ask for it on the side. The tacos were AMAZING! The order came with 2 tacos and they were very filling and the pork had SO much flavor! It had a slight kick to it and was absolutely delicious. The pad thai was good, but nothing special. The Mac and Cheese was very tasty! It was made with orzo pasta and there was a nice crust on the top! Super delicious! I will definitely be back! The food was great, service was awesome, and everything was just phenomenal!

I had lunch here with a friend on a Monday afternoon and was very pleased with the service, food, and atmosphere. We were seated upstairs at a table with swinging/hanging chairs, overlooking the main dining room. The hostess and server were very friendly, welcoming us for the first time. I ordered the Mexican Tossed Salad with Avocado cream dressing. It was fresh, tasty, and portioned nicely for lunch. Though a bit expensive for lunch, at $ 12, the experience was well worth it. The menu is versatile, offering a great selection of salads, lite bites, and large pasta dishes. The décor was vintage and done so well. My friend and I bought donuts from a bakery earlier in the day and the waitress let us eat it there, free of charge. I felt that my business was appreciated. I can not wait to try their brunch.

Awesome, awesome bar food. My company had hosted a client event at the Continental almost a year ago and I really enjoyed the apps that were served. 9 – 10 months later… I’m back. For lunch. This place was super busy at noon, but the bar was dead so I made a beeline for my Bloody Mary. There was only one other person at the bar, so the bartender was super attentive. Ordered my Bloody. It was fine. C+. Average. I was between the Calamari Salad and the Asian Chicken Salad for lunch so I asked the bartender which he liked better. Turns out both were his favorites on the menu but I went with the Asian Chicken Salad. The salad came out within 90 seconds of ordering, so the chicken wasn’t hot or fresh off of a grill, which I prefer at restaurants, but was finely shredded and tossed in the ginormous salad bowl.(This is a $ 14 salad, so yeah, the portion matched the price tag.) The dish had good flavor, wasn’t drowning in dressing, but man… as a customer we want our food to come out quickly, but within seconds raises some brows. Amiright? The salad got a solid B. I like the Continental Mid-town but this experience didn’t leave me yearning for it like the last time. Gotta explore more restaurants when I’m back in Philly!

I came here for brunch last weekend. The restaurant is huge with a funky décor. The wait staff was very friendly. We were seated right away. I ordered the big daddy mack(veggie burger) with a side salad. The veggie burger was pretty good! The side salad was very disappointing and inedible. It was chopped and tasted like it has been sitting in the refrigerator for days; not fresh at all. I would return possibly for breakfast if I was in the area. I likely wouldn’t return for lunch or dinner unless nearby restaurants had a wait time.

I think I’ve been in Pittsburgh too long because Continental got me really excited about my dining experience. The waitress asked me if it was okay to sit in the hanging basket chairs. Is that even a question? Who wouldn’t want to sit in hanging basket chairs while eating?(Actually the chair was slightly far from the table so you had to swing yourself to the table if you wanted to reach your food). We got the pomegranate martini and while I hardly ever drink because everything tastes disgusting, this taught me that not all alcohol has to make you gag! We both got the Continental Cheeseburger and were delighted to see a mound of fries come with it. The cheeseburger was perfection, a thick patty that was delightfully tender. Needless to say, we cleaned our plates. The prices were not bad for the amount and quality of food that you got so I would recommend coming here if you have an appetite or if you actually eat your left over food.

I have a new life goal to visit every single Steven Starr restaurant(at least all of them in Philly any who). I am a fan. I really enjoyed Continental Mid-town, every part of it. From the instant that I walked inside and saw the beautiful turquoise color furniture and the huge retro chandelier, I felt bliss. The main floor has big round booths and tables next to the busy Philadelphia streets. The ambience is casual and has a really cool vintage feel, yet modern. It seems like a 1960 – 70’s old school fancy airport restaurant. We were lucky enough to be sat in the upstairs dining area. The upstairs area is pretty much a huge walkway that goes in a big square around the restaurant with an open middle so that you can see down onto the main floor. The top floor has tables with wicker hanging chairs and also some booths along the wall. When we entered the restaurant, we noticed a table with a plate piled like 8 inches high with shoe string potatoes so of course we had to order those. They had a spicy mustard sauce drizzled on them and were so delicious. And really fun to look at. and fun to eat. For our entrees we split the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chili braised Short Rib. The Tikka Masala was really, really delicious. It was perfectly spiced-sweet and rich. The Chili Braised Short rib was not my favorite but Kyle loved it. The meat was beautifully tender, but I was not a fan of it being served over refried beans. Our cocktails were absolutely delicious though after having cocktails at two Steven Starr restaurants in one night I’m gonna say that they pour their cocktails very, very weak. Three drinks in and I didn’t even feel like I had had one. My friends felt the same way. Unfortunate too because they were pricey. Over all, I adore The Continental and can not wait to check out the other Steven Starr restaurants in Philly next time I visit!

We had dinner here last Saturday night. It was busy but we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. The atmosphere is nice. We had the lobster Mac and cheese, a Cobb salad and fried calamari. The Mac and cheese was nothing special at all. A waste of $ 18 if you ask me. The calamari was very good but the portion size too small for the price. The Cobb salad was pretty good. Overall it was ok, but I wouldn’t go back. I wish we had gone someplace else.

For my 100th review(wait, when did that happen?!) I’m taking it back to my roots in Philadelphia. Although I haven’t lived there in 3 years now, I always make a point to stop at the Continental when I’m in town. The restaurant is seriously perfect for a date, a night out with friends, or just a random Tuesday; the space has several different areas for drinking and dining that make you feel like you’re both at a classic 1950s diner and a hip, modern restaurant in Center City. The roof bar is also fantastic in warm weather, should you opt to leave the eclectic dining room. But the food here is what really makes me come back time after time. They have a mix of small and large plates, which are fantastic for sharing. Despite having such a large mix of both American comfort food and global tapas, everything I’ve tried have been spectacular. I’ve tried: + Crispy Brussels Sprouts + Crispy Calamari Salad– this is my favorite salad in the history of lettuce. I can’t not order this whenever I go. + Cheesesteak Eggrolls + Rad Na Don’t forget about their drinks though. They’re on the sweet side, but perfect for a girl’s night out(particularly if you order a shaker or two). The Twizzle is definitely my favorite so far. Perfect place for sharing a few plates, and it won’t break the bank at the end. Looking forward to my next visit to Philly!

My friend from Philly made a reservation here and I can see why with it’s unique setting! I felt like I was in scene that was part 80s and part futuristic. There were three of us which was unfortunate because the swings looked like so much fun and are for a table of two however I was told that the seats are actually not that comfortable for long periods of time. Here is what we ordered: * Lobster mac and cheese * French onion soup dumplings * Philly cheesesteak egg rolls * Pork tacos * S’more dessert The first three were rich and heavy but were tasty — the lobster in the mac and cheese seemed kind of stringy tho I kept eating it. The pork tacos and the dessert were really good too! I also had the Perfect Pear cocktail upon recommendation of our waitress and it did not disappoint — was very good! Our waitress was awesome too. We stayed much longer after paying our bill and she did not kick us out. Overall a great and fun meal!

I appreciate good customer service and I was contacted by continental apologizing over my happy hour experience. I actually have been back for happy hour about 5 times since then and it’s been great! No issues whatsoever. They really have an amazing happy hour by offering so many different types of wine and cocktails rather than just one or two options. Also there are many options for food specials. One of my favorites is the hummus place at around $ 4 and it is huge! Such a great value! Love it in the summer with the roof deck. But when it’s cold they do happy hour at both the first and second floor bar.

Love this place and am so happy I rediscovered it! Some friends invited us for drinks on their 3rd floor around the cozy fire, and then I returned a week later with my girlfriends for dinner and drinks on the roof again(they have heat lamps for chilly fall nights). The drinks are relatively expensive but their menu is huge and so so creative — I mean tang-rimmed martini and twizzler in your drink creative. It’s definitely a fun spot. For dinner we started with the French onion soup dumplings, brisket bao buns, and shoestring fries, all to share and which were great! I’d eat them all again :) for my entrée I had the Thai chicken lettuce wraps, which came as a DIY with peanut sauce and were delish! The lettuce cups sort of fell apart, but otherwise they were really good. Their menu is large and tapas style which I love, great for sharing! The atmosphere here is really fun for drinks, and they have the swinging chairs inside which I am still dying to sit in — the child in me NEEDS to return at lease once more for those. See you soon continental!

I was so excited to finally try The Continental. I’ve heard so many great things and my expectations were exceeded. It was a Saturday night and there was surprisingly no wait, especially since the dinning room was closed off due to a private party. We got to enjoy our dinner on the roof top instead! No complaints here! The bartender was very friendly and welcoming. She was extremely helpful, attentive and resourceful. When she pulled out the gluten free menu my heart melted. For my meal I chose the roasted octopus, which was cooked to perfection in a way Unique to my palate. It was served over a bead of spinach with peppers and beans. The portion was not huge but was perfect for me along side some edamame. My boyfriend got the lobster Mac and cheese, he goes here all the time and constantly raves about how delicious it is! Instead of elbow macaroni it is made with orzo. This was also something unique. The top was toasted and crunchy. Mmm! To top it off we each enjoyed a delicious glass of Cabernet. Overall, an awesome experience at The Continental and I will definitely be going back!

Fun atmosphere! I recently moved to the city so I have passed this location a couple of times. I always thought it looked like a giant diner. It was further from the truth. Inside was very chic and fun with swingy hanging basket chairs and bright lights. I had the Milan Mule which was delicious. We shared the shoestring fries which were hard to eat but the flavorful honey mustard sauce with a kick of horseradish made up for it. I also had the Punjabi tikka masala which was also good. The portions were huge for some items and normal portioned for other items so you don’t really know how much your getting until it gets to the table. I also liked that the waitresses asked about food allergies at the table which I thought was a good practice for restaurants to do. There was such a variety of things to try on the menu, that I will be back to try some more items! I think that is how this place can get sneakily pricey but now that I know the portions are so big, I will share more!

Located in the heart of center city Philly, this is one of the cities chicest spots, located on a busy corner with great people watching. In the summer there is outdoor seating. The inside has a cutting edge décor with, chairs hanging from the ceiling, and high energy electronic dance music playing. I had an appetizer of tuna tar tar, which was so tasty and the presentation was fit for the art museum. I had an entrée salad with crispy calamari, which was seasoned perfectly with a dressing that was tangy, but not to overpowering. Prices are moderate, restrooms are very cool, interesting décor. Parking is touch, be sure to get a local lot, however there is no valet at parking here or validation discount at nearby garages

Average food, definitely not worth the price. But what I can say is that it’s absolutely beautiful on the inside and I loved their friendly service! I would not come here for great food, but the ambience. What I tried: –Thai chicken skewers: juicy and tender, but the curry could’ve been thicker –Shoestring fries: slightly salty, but overall worth the try due its creativity. Make sure you like horseradish though, otherwise ask for on the side! –Cheesesteak eggrolls: literally cheesesteak in an egg roll form! Great for those who love both! –Crab pad thai: DONTGET, not worth $ 18. too salty and there was no crab taste infused with the dish. Literally tiny crab bits were just thrown in. Such a disappointing dish. –Roasted octopus: Really good! My favorite dish for the night, but definitely not worth $ 16.50 for only 5 small slices. Something to consider if you want to try or not
