Like other reviewers, I was happy to see that tofu was an option at Currito. I got the teriyaki burrito, though tikka was my first choice but they said they ran out. Even for the teriyaki burrito, they had run out of broccoli(it is 10am so I guess they ran out yesterday and didn’t stock up). I asked if they could substitute the purple cabbage salad(undressed version without blue cheese) and it went well in the burrito. The service was not pleasant or helpful(not surprising for airport fast food) but the burrito filled me up and I don’t think I will be hungry for a while. A bit too much of the teriyaki sauce for my taste so I would suggest asking for a bit less of that sauce so it doesn’t feel too syrupy. The sauce was very sweet. Also got bacon egg and cheese burrito with avocado which was a breakfast item and it was very good. Highly recommend adding avocado to your breakfast burrito!

Had the tofu salad, excellent for fast food. Service was good. Pricey but that is expected in the airport.

I saw there was a Chipotle in PHL. But it was in the farthest terminal from my gate. So I had to roll the dice on Currito. It seemed very similar to Chipotle but they had an expanded menu that included kale, quinoa and tofu! It was exciting to see all the combination they had. I went with a tofu classic. Food in an airport is usually sub-standard. But Currito is a solid option anywhere. And while I like Chipotle’s red salsa better, I’m a better fan of Currito having more vegetarian options.

PHL is one of my favorite airports in the country. They have lots of good shopping(for an airport) and lots of good food options. I love this concept of Mexican fusion. I ordered the chicken tikka bowl, which was chicken, fresh cucumber, yogurt sauce, cilantro rice, and curry chick peas. It was all very flavorful and fresh. Really good size portion. Definitely something to seek out when you are waiting for your flight!

Curry in a burrito– Currito! It was nice enough for refuelling between flights, but don’t get too excited. This is airport food after all.

Curry and burrito do not go well together! That was my fault. Low quality raw materials is their fault. Brown chicken and brown guacamole sealed the deal! Never again.

They have decent burritos. Unfortunately your experience will vary quite a bit depending on the people working there at any given moment. I like the Tika burrito — quite nice.

I don’t think this spot is as bad as people claim it to be via Unilocal or word of mouth. I’ve tried this place at the airport twice now, and have had a good experience both times. I mean, it’s not like exceptional quality food but it definitely hits the spot when you’re waiting for a flight and are craving a saucey, carby replacement for Chipotle. I’ve tried the chicken tikka masala burrito bowl as well as the Mediterranean bowl. Both were tasty. I have a slight preference for the Mediterranean bowl, as it included more ingredients, but both were still flavorful. The chicken tikka masala burrito came with white rice, curried chickpeas, cucumbers, tikka masala sauce, grilled chicken, and a cucumber yogurt sauce. Delicious and kind of spicy, which was a nice added touch. The people that work the line are not very friendly and do not take the time to really help you customize your order. It also is fairly pricey for what you get, but hey it’s an airport. Would not mind at all coming back here for an airport snack.

This place is a gem in the philly airport. By far, it offers the best Mexican food and Best burrito in PHL. The portions are huge. The guacamole is freshly made and delicious. This was overall a great dinner for being stuck in an airport. Check it out in Terminal E

Portion sizes are decent, even the salad was sufficient to hold me over. Service is non existent. Staff doesn’t make eye contact and always staring off into the distance, nor do they listen. I asked for pico de gallo and got salsa instead. But hey, it’s the airport, beggars can’t be choosers.

I thought this was a joke it’s such an obvious copy of chipotle. They try to differentiate through more ingredients and huge portions, which I find a little silly. Quality is a step or two below Chipotle and the employees are not as cheery, however, for airport food it’s decent and the spicy salsa is good. In fact it might be the best food in the airport.

Got to the airport early and needed some breakfast and coffee so ran into this Mexican spot that had great tasting and spicy chorizo con juevos burritos. The service is fast and the coffee is very hot. Couldn’t have asked for a better quick bite.

I have enjoyed this place in many occasions. Very sad about the bad reviews. I enjoy it every time. I am a burrito bowl guy and the Mediterranean bowl is great. They now offer quinoa and kale. The vegitarian can heat as well with tofu being available instead of meat The service is great and done with a smile! Come hungry they load it up.

At the top of the D gates near the security exit and the Delta Sky Club, this Currito has the usual«classic» burritos but as their caption goes — burritos without borders — they offer several different flavors and toppings that go beyond the usual burrito. You want buffalo sauce with chicken and blue cheese? How about curry sauce and curried chickpeas? Or maybe you want to have what I had — the«Bangkok» which is chicken with peanut sauce, asian slaw and chopped cucumbers. It was absolutely delicious! I had mine«bowl-style» with brown rice and it kept the hungry feelings away for hours and hours as I left Philadelphia for airports beyond. Good service, too! Review number 4300!

I’ve stopped by this place twice now, being pretty intrigued by their concept of internationally inspired burritos. I don’t know of anything similar in my neck of the woods. Service has been a-okay, as the 3 stars would indicate. Polite, perfunctory. Not memorable, but not apathetic. But they did totally let me have like 1400 extra sauces to try and dip to my heart’s content. The food? A-OK as well. I really like the flavor combos, and the variety of toppings to choose from. Tons of sauces besides multiple sauces. You can try thai peanut, hot buffalo, teriyaki, tikka masala & raita, and even hummus. But like many concepts that try to accomplish too many different ideas and flavors, most ingredients fall a little short. It’s pretty obvious that all of their sauces come shipped in bags, so they’re all missing the punch of fresh herbs and real flavors. What I tried was a little bland. It wasn’t bad, and was pretty cheap for an airport meal. About $ 10 including a drink, and I was full for the entire flight. But I would never pick it over an actual Mexican, Indian, Thai, etc, restaurant.

Nothing bad about this place, not sure why all the negative reviews. My pulled pork burrito on wheat tortilla was very good. Lots of pulled pork(although not as juicy as Qdoba). They didn’t overstuff it with rice, which allowed more room for the good toppings. Lettuce & tomatoes were fresh, and for 1.89 they added tons of guacamole. Yumm. Docked a star for not having queso sauce. Which is why Qdoba is still my favorite! However Currito grills their burritos which the other chains don’t, which was a nice touch! Service was fine, not friendly but they did nothing wrong, and executed my order fast and perfect. Prices are not crazy for airport food, $ 7.49 for pulled pork burrito is the same as other chains.

Food was good. The breakfast burrito was terrific. Where they went wrong is that I ordered a smoothie that was berries and got one that had peanut butter in it. Ok they made a mistake, but it could have gone very wrong had I been allergic to peanuts. Thankfully I’m not and the minute I had a sip, I brought it back and they were mortified at the mistake. I got a fresh berry smoothie and all was well. This is an A-OK place in a busy airport!

Eh. That’s about all I have for this place. I tend to compare every burrito place to Chipotle, so here’s how I felt: –Decent size for the burrito bowl, but certainly smaller than Chipotle. –A bit more generous on the toppings, pretty much gave me what I asked for. –Nice having the«fun» options like ‘Tikka Masala Sauce’, ‘Cucumber Mint Sauce’, etc, but none of them were particularly delicious. I felt like it was also overpriced, but aren’t all of these places? It probably doesn’t help that it’s in an airport.

So excited to see this place after such a fantastic experience at the Cleveland airport. Let’s just say this experience is not as fantastic by a long shot. Flavors not blended and rice not right. I wish to make no further comments about this meal as I would like for the memories to fade as son as possible. Thank you
