Goorin Bros.

This was my first visit to the Philadelphia shop after having purchased 3 hats in Boston. I went in wearing a cloche I had gotten already. I was greeted after the gentleman was done helping another customer. He told me the sales, which I had asked about, pulled down one hat that I requested and left me as another customer came in. With the other customer He was helpful, answered questions and have the kind of service I was used to in Boston. Just as I was finishing and getting frustrated that I hadn’t been helped how I was accustomed, enter Jason. He was friendly, warm, we had a great chat, he stretched out my hat, placed it on my head, used my name and shook my hand. This was the customer service I was used to and that goorin had always had for me. Thanks Jason!

Great quality hats and great customer service.
The store itself has an old-​time charm and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are also fairly reasonable considering the high quality of the product. You can even bring your hat back in anytime for a free steam clean and refitting.

Absolutely love this boutique! Bough a great red hat with a feather– kudos to the lovely Blake for his knowledge and patience whilst I was making my decision. Thank you!

Ladies and gentleman, hats are back in and, if you are in Philadelphia, this is where you should be shopping for them! Goorin Bros. has an excellent selection of timeless and beautifully crafted hats for men and women (and no, I am not even working for them, haha!) – this is not your dull, run-​of-​the-​mill department store fare. These are hats made by people who just make hats and make them well. I had a very difficult time deciding on just one and ended up trying on nearly an entire wall-​full of them, before settling! Almost as important to me as the products themselves is the quaint and elegant atmosphere of the store and the excellent customer service I received. The employees were clearly very knowledgeable about their products and were very kind, helpful and patient with me while I was trying on hats. They never, at any time, pressured me to purchase a more expensive product. In fact, they actually encouraged me to purchase the less expensive hat that I would wear more often, custom fit it to my head and allowed me to select my own feather for it. I had, in every respect, a most charming and gratifying experience visiting Goorin Bros. and I would highly recommend it to anyone (the hat, by the way has received copious compliments from strangers nearly EVERY time I have worn it – I call that a success).

I have been in a few times and have purchased one hat plus accessories. The staff actually like what they do and are not just mindless sales people. They also care about the clients instead of only thinking about getting the customer to buy an get out. They have even worked to get a dent out of one of my non-​Goorin Bro. hats for nothing at all. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, outstanding customer service, lovely atmosphere, top quality product…5 stars all the way!

Now it is rare that I give an establishment 5 stars but they continue to impress me! I stopped by to check out their store after having a great experience with a Goorin store in New Orleans. The guy that I spoke to was very knowledgeable and friendly. For a moment, I didn’t think I was in Philadelphia anymore. I have several dress hats that I wanted to have steamed and cleaned and he asked me to stop anytime to drop them off. A few months later I stopped by in the morning only to discover that they didn’t open until 11:00 am. The woman inside saw me standing outside and immediately came to the door and took care of my hats for me. They promised to have them done by Monday so I simply left my business card. Today at work, my hats arrived cleaned with even a replacement feather for one of the hats. I was not expecting delivery. There are a ton of fine establishments that can learn a thing or two from this franchise. Namely Boyd’s, Sak’s, Tiffany’s, and Neiman Marcus should take notes. Great selection, great prices, but world class service!!! I am a fan!

We were completely charmed by this throwback men’s hat and millinery shop. In terms of layout and ambiance, the store is reminiscent of a 19^th century London hat shop. Both the workmanship and materials are superb, and the prices are fairly reasonable for American-​made goods.
The sales associates have been consistently enthusiastic and attentive during our visits. The very festive grand opening soirée was no impediment to an associate spending quality time responding to our questions and looking for alternative sizes and colors.
Worth a stop, especially during the holiday shopping season if one is in need of a gift for someone who already has everything.

My husband wanted to get a nice hat to wear daily with his suit, so we ventured into the city to visit Goorin Bros. Our experience was exceptional! The staff was extremely helpful and spent time helping us choose a hat. We also ended up getting a hat for myself. The hats are very high quality and the prices are not unreasonable. I never thought of hats being so fashionable, but this shop has changed my mind. They have give something so classic as hats a trendy feel. We will absolutely buy hats from Goorin Bros in the future and I would highly recommend this hat shop!
