So Hive76 is Philly’s hackerspace, a place where you can go and work on electronics projects. It’s kind of the most awesome thing ever. I’m a hobbyist electronics nerd, and I have a lot of learning to do. Thing is, I find it’s so much easier to get help and inspiration from other people. When I went to one of their open hours(check out the website for details), I was really excited to find incredibly smart people who were more than happy to help me with my questions. I think I’m finally going to get my dreams off the ground, thanks in part to this amazing space. They have lots of useful tools available — like a 3D printer and laser cutter — for use at a very reasonable monthly membership fee. If you’re this far into the review then you probably know that everyone there is a complete nerd, and this should make you happy, but if you’re not into that scene, then, well, gtfo :)
