They’ve gotten a lot better. I feel like the food quality is better than it was and they haven’t messed up my order in a looong time. Plus, the ladies who answer the phone are all really nice.

So my boyfriend just ordered their«chicken parm» with ravioli. I put that in quotes because their idea of chicken parm is three chicken tenders covered with some spaghetti sauce(or gravy, as some might call it). They only gave him five raviolis, which is typical for Italian restaurants, but really? He’s lucky he ordered some Potato Teasers to help curb his appetite, though I know he’ll be hungry again in like an hour due to the lack of food he was given. I’m just in awe of the fact that they used chicken tenders instead of an actual cutlet. If you can buy frozen chicken tenders to fry up, you can definitely buy some frozen cutlets too. Maybe I’m spoiled from living in Northern NJ close to NYC where I can find real Italian food. Then again, even the pizza places up by me know to use a real cutlet rather than some tenders. I feel like if he wanted something like that, he could’ve just ordered it from Wawa. Pretty disappointed. Looks like we’ll just keep ordering from either Bentouli’s or Steve’s Old London Pizza.

Good pizza, fast service, best wings I’ve had in a while. Pleasant and direct to the point ladies in the front. Reasonable prices. What more can you ask for?

Food is good, but I have yet to get an order right. There is always something wrong. Order tomatoes and lettuce on the sandwich, it comes without. Order a grilled chicken on a kaiser, you get a chicken cheesesteak. Order a white pizza, get a regular plain pizza. Lucky for them, I eat almost everything, so I am pretty forgiving, and I dont complain. But, I do wonder, when I am placing an order online — How are you consistently getting it wrong? It’s not like you misheard me on the phone. It’s right there! Like I said — the food is good, if they could get it right, I’d give them 5 stars. But they never, ever, get it right, so 3 stars it is.

Well, it’s not just called Old London Pizza. It’s now Jimmy’s Old London pizza. There’s a photo floating somewhere(search«old london pizza aramingo» in Google images) that depicts what the pizza may have looked like. Probably before Jimmy arrived to the scene. In fact, I will try to find a picture of a pie if I’m planning to order from an unfamiliar pizza shop. I like playing pizza roulette, never ordering from the same shop twice. However, because every schlub today considers themselves a digital-aged Brillat-Savarin, there are an increasing number of photos of almost everything every restaurant serves. As a result, it’s been a less daring adventure. In the mood for what seems like would be a big, floppy, cheesy mess of a pizza(judging from an internet picture), I instead received quite the opposite. It was one of the thickest crusts I’d seen that wasn’t deep dish. It’s too bad that I find thick crust pizza appalling, because the sauce was ample and good flavor. Even with the aide of all the gadgets, internets, and ‘foodies’ with gadgets and internets, the lesson here is if you gamble, you will at one point, lose.

The food is very good. Staff is quick and courteous. I have been getting food from here now for over 3 years and never had an issue. They are known in the neighborhood for the humongous sized pizza slices which are good. My favorite from food from here are the Stromboli. Very tasty! This place is only take out no dining in just FYI for all.

decent pizza, fast service, and nice people. take out only, as there is no other place to sit. they’re even open while there’s currently construction on their corner :} overall a decent place for a local on the corner little pizza joint. plus, they’re open LATE. which is excellent since they’re right around the corner from my friends house.
