I love this Lil spot. Found this spot by UnilocalING for food before heading on the 2 hour long trip.
I love the fact that they have to grills one for beef and one for pork. And the food was so quick and good.
Customer service was so great I love the lady who waited on us. I will be back

The french toast is my favorite with some turkey Bacon, and the cheese grits r sooooo cheesy ! Prices r cheap, and the service is not too bad but it’s usually crowded

John’s diner is a small breakfast/​lunch spot in Germantown that I’ve watch improve year after year. John, the Asian owner, has sunk a lot of his profits into sprucing up the place. The food is good, with large portions and a big menu. Preparing breakfast for African-​Americans has to be one of the hardest jobs in the world! you have to have pork for the «old heads» (me) beef for the Islamic sect, turkey products for the non-​redmeat eaters, egg whites, eggs «fried hard» («ghetto for cooked to death») hot tea for the women, Pepsi for the men, home fries with peppers & onions, long beef hot sausage, white. wheat, rye and potato bread for toast, 3 kinds of jelly– you get the drift! But John handles it all in stride with a smile.
