I love this Lil spot. Found this spot by UnilocalING for food before heading on the 2 hour long trip. I love the fact that they have to grills one for beef and one for pork. And the food was so quick and good. Customer service was so great I love the lady who waited on us. I will be back

The french toast is my favorite with some turkey Bacon, and the cheese grits r sooooo cheesy ! Prices r cheap, and the service is not too bad but it’s usually crowded

John’s diner is a small breakfast/lunch spot in Germantown that I’ve watch improve year after year. John, the Asian owner, has sunk a lot of his profits into sprucing up the place. The food is good, with large portions and a big menu. Preparing breakfast for African-Americans has to be one of the hardest jobs in the world! you have to have pork for the«old heads»(me) beef for the Islamic sect, turkey products for the non-redmeat eaters, egg whites, eggs«fried hard»(«ghetto for cooked to death») hot tea for the women, Pepsi for the men, home fries with peppers & onions, long beef hot sausage, white. wheat, rye and potato bread for toast, 3 kinds of jelly– you get the drift! But John handles it all in stride with a smile.
