Magee Rehabilitation Hospital

Terrible customer service, I was transferred seven times and put on hold three times. The staff is very rude. I hope the Dr is worth this frustration.

My 17 year old son is receiving phenomenal care at Magee following a multiple trauma ski accident resulting in hospitalization in Canada for 2 weeks followed by air ambulance. The therapists, nurses, doctors, social workers, nurse aides, dietitians, and all of the other staff are so caring and super competent. We feel so lucky that our son is being rehabilitated at Magee.

saw dr someone initially. he was a neuro psychologist but i haven’t seen him since.
saw dr kucer every time and he has overseen my treatment.
concussion testing. impact testing. stayed in contact with with me vestibular therapist.
highly recommended.
free parking in center city philadelphia is unheard of but available here!

The reason for 3 stars is 5 for Dr. Kupfer but 1 for the admin staff. We love Dr. Kupfer but the administrative staff around him is horrible. The woman who schedules appointments asked me to call back the next day because she was leaving in 5 minutes. This was after two weeks worth of phone calls and messages trying to set up an appointment!
I have paperwork that needs to be filled out and get sent to the case manager. Left a message for her two days ago and still haven t heard back. I called today again and was told I would have to speak to the case manager. I said that I had already left a message and asked when I would receive a call back. I was told that she would get back to me as soon as she had time.
I am trying to find out now if Dr. Mendel has another office so we no longer have to deal with the staff there.

You’re fast to be seen. Staff are really pleasant and doctors are very thorough. Clean place!
