I have been going to Margarita for 30 years. I have strayed a few times, but always came back to the most precision cuts in the city. Margarita has always attended the Paris hair shows and came back with new methods and styles. She is one in a million. Who else can make me look so great?

Margarita gives you a homely feeling. Everyone who works there is very nice. I have been getting my hair cut from Kevin for years. I followed him from his previous salon. He is honest and doesn’t promise what he cannot deliver. I love that he tells me what will not work with my hair (curly long). I have taken all my friends. After getting his haircut from Kevin, my husband does not want to see anybody else ever again.

FINALLY someone who understands the challenges of cutting and styling long curly hair. Kevin is the absolute best. I don’t even live in Philly but I wait until I visit family or friends to get my hair cut so he can do it.

I’m not going to lie. I haven’t had my hair cut here in years and years and years.
But Margarita and co were practically part of the family! My Bubbe (grandmother) and great aunt had a standing appointment at Margarita’s for something like 20 years. So I’ve been tagging along to get my nails done and hair trimmed since I could sit up! My mom even used to trek back to Philly to get her hair cut after we moved to Harrisburg.
I’m not going to lie. I think they skew.older. But, Margarita (the owner), Pilar (her sister), and their staff are so so nice! They always listened when I explained what I was looking for in the haircut, and it’s a cute little shop!
