Orlando’s Bakery

So I saw the vanilla pound cake on this site and called bakery who offered to put up 2 slices for me one with lemon icing and the other with chocolate. I went to the bakery and the customer service and customers were so friendly overall great atmosphere. There was also a very courtesy Police Officer in there. Not only was the visit excellent the cake is delicious and the serving is large for the price which is only $ 1.75. I haven’t been here in years but I’ll definitely go back more often. They also had an entire cake for sale for 1 dollar… looked delicious but I pass it on the a military Vet… kudos to Orlandos!!!

Get the pretzel donut. I been getting birthday cakes and sweet treat from Orlandos since i was a kid :)

I am really enjoying their 66^th anniversary specials this September. Each day has a different special item for a 1948 price. Absolutely love the tea biscuits on Saturday for 45 cents a half doz. Monday brings your choice of half a doz. delicious donuts for 48 cents and Wednesday brings an old time favorite trolley buns for 39 cents a doz. I don’t want September to end but I will continue to come back to the old neighborhood for their old time Classic Italian pastries.

Was recommended by my cousin to try this bakery as it is close to my apartment and reasonably priced. I came here early on a Sunday morning and although the neighborhood is not super appealing their baked goods are.
I ordered a cheesecake with strawberry topping for a dinner I was attending and I wanted something sweet to eat for breakfast. I asked the woman behind the counter what she recommended and she stated the cheese danish was one of their biggest sellers. I ordered that and it was truly delicious. I certainly would go back.

I’m hesitant to leave a review here. Not because they are bad, it’s just they are so damn good I don’t want to share.
This is the best kept secret in Overbrook. Their work is amazing and you can not beat the prices here. The staff is always great and I’ve never been disappointed.

Ok… customer service here gets 5 stars. The lady was so sweet and nice. Now on to the products. Very good and cheap-​ish. I paid 18 dollar for 8 inch round
was good. It could have been a little more moist but still good. The apple danish? OMG ! so good ! I also had the turtle cake it was very good and moist. The carrot cake was the worse i have ever had in my life. Too sweet, too hard, too dry too everything. Overall 3 stars.

Orlando’s is a good Italian bakery. They carry pastries of all kinds. They make a good birthday cake and really standout doughnuts. Try the cream filled!

Having grown up in Overbrook, Orlando’s was the one and only bakery that my mom would send me to whenever a birthday cake, easter bread or a tray of cookies was needed. I’m happy to say that the good quality that I grew up with is still available at this family-​owned bakery. The place hasn’t changed a bit since I was a kid, and while the cakes aren’t quite as beautiful looking as what you”ll find at Clay’s or Sophisticakes, the taste is undoubtedly superior. They have a wonderful ricotta pie, and the danish are out of this world. The best part is their prices are extremely reasonable. Some might think that the neighborhood is a little sketchy, but it is easy to get to from City Line and I’ve never had a problem.

in this day and age where everyone thinks they can do cupcakes.(NOT) I wish people would stop overthinking cupcakes… these are so good nothing really fancy… no saffron no lavendar pellets to ingest just a good simply made vanilla cupcake with icing and the required jimmies… light fluffy… just yummy

This is another fine bakery in town. I have been coming here on/​off for about 20 years… Since I live across the bridge in Jersey, it’s not always convenient for me to come over, except for a special occassion order…
If you don’t try anything else here, you have to try the powdered crème donuts… You’ll be a fan for life.
