Defending the Caveman review: My boyfriend and I saw this show last night. The reviews were very good and it’s been running for 11 years so I figured let’s take a chance on it. It should be funny. Well, it was not that funny. It wasn’t horrible though. I’d give it a 2⁄5 stars. There were parts that were amusing and rang true but it was mostly rambling musings about the differences between men and women using examples of how the 2 sexes interact now and in caveman times. It was not worth the $ 45 a ticket we paid on Groupon. I don’t know what the full-price tickets were but I’d be really annoyed we paid more than we did. Parking was $ 12 because we got our tickets validated, normally it would be $ 18. Overall, the night out was not worth it. I do not recommend this show. I’m surprised it’s lasted 11 years! The man who does the show, Vince Valentine, seemed very nice though so good for him.

Zowie !! Divorcee Club Jan-March 2015-It is a hilarious play and laughs are the real star of the show. It is very reasonable priced live performance entertainment. I admit the Playhouse is tucked away and hard to find off of Columbus Blvd. It was kind of like an adventure. However, this premier play and comedic portrayal of three very different divorced women — Bethany the aristocrat, Bridget the country girl and Mary the«exotic» seductress from New Jersey — all forced by circumstances to share an apartment and join forces on a hunt for the perfect man has funny dialogue and a ton of body language. It closes March 22, SOJOINTHECLUB of laughter! I did!!! Trivia: I found out that the original European production has entertained over 3 million people in the last 10 years.
