The organ box that you get is nice and well cut/packed, but the service is not the best. First they deliver only one day a week and since exactly on that day I have all my important meetings it was pretty difficult to arrange a delivery. They almost wanted to leave the frozen pieces in a box behind a door on a relatively busy street. In my organ box there were no pieces of tail at first place, but what I finally got after sending couple of e-mails.

I think it’s funny that the 1 star review was because of the price. Grass-fed beef is not inexpensive. You buy it because it’s natural and delicious. You also buy it from Phillycowshare because it’s convenient and local. I’m so happy with my share. I’m learning new recipes for the variety of cuts and I will definitely order another 1⁄8th of a cow in the near future.

Waaaay to much money for what you don’t get. I can say that it is packaged nicely and well labeled. However, I purchased an 1⁄8th share of a cow which came out to $ 8.00+/lb. There was very little product for the cost of 175.00. I’ll enjoy what I have, but will not do it again.

Our family of three loves Philly Cow Share. Our seven year old will go to the freezer, grab a package of ground beef and ask for a burger. We went through the«cuts» very quickly — all delicious. Now we’re just finishing up the ground beef and we’re just about ready for our next order.

When I first started thinking about Philly CowShare I was worried about what I was going to do with all the meat! I am SO happy with the variety, quality, delivery … It def. filled my freezer and I have been good for months — I ended up saving money and I always have something on hand! I’m just about ready to order my next share.
