The pizza is decent, but their delivery options suck. Website says they will deliver to 7th St, but when you call, they will only go as far West as 5th.

This isn’t gourmet pizza. It’s more a pizza by the slice place. And might be okay at 2 am. But if you are looking to order a nice pie for delivery or take out, take a pass on this place. The dough is chewy, pizza soggy, sauce blah. The toppings seemed good, but overall there are much better options in the neighborhood(Trios, Rustica).

One day there was a wall in the middle of Kings Oak and a few weeks later it was Pizza Bar. There is an 800 degree wood oven in there that gets kept burning 24⁄7 to keep it up to temp. Overall I like their pizza. My favorite is the sausage. They make a decent variety and seem to be proud of the Truffe but I would like it better if the were less truffly and more mushroomy. For all of the topping pizzas I think the crust is perfect. Oddly enough I cannot really endorse the plain slice. For some reason the plain is always soggy in the middle(even though none of the toppings ever are) and I just don’t like it. I also don’t love the flavor of the sauce when it stands alone. I’m still a fan because I never get the plain anymore and I do love the sausage. Also, 2 slices from Pizza bar is one of the least expensive lunches you can find around the Piazza.

No bathroom to use while the back isn’t open? Strange. Things like that just don’t help me enjoy the pizza that I got. $ 6 for two slices and a Coke. It’s OK and better than most Philly pizza spots, but there is much, much better pizza in this town.

I was so excited when a pizza shop opened downstairs at the piazza! When I first tried it back in February it was amazing! Really great thick crust and lots of great toppings to choose from. However, throughout the last few months the crust has been getting thinner and thinner. I don’t know if they are skimping to save money but its just not good anymore. I live at the piazza and the pizza is so thin that by the time I get upstairs with it its cold! If you are looking for somewhere to eat at the piazza skip this place unless its a last resort!

Reasonably priced beer, semi-edible Margherita pizza, and incredibly cramped seating. I’m sure they’ll do great with the late night Piazza party crowd, but I’d skip this place if you’re sober.

A nice little addition to the piazza, where you can sit down and have a slice of pizza and individual bottled beers. They have a nice selection of great local beers. The price was right as well. When my friend and I went in, the two employees were very nice and friendly. I can’t say the pizza is as good as Rustica, because it’s not. It is a good addition to our little neighborhood.

Well naming this place Pizza Bar is definitely appropriate. Its a small space — with maybe ten or so seats. Its more of a place for a quick bite to eat than a sit around and chat place. It is on the inside section of the Piazza, tucked next to King’s Oak. . From what I saw they have beer and pizza — I’m not even sure they had soda. The day I was there they had 4 types of pizza available: plain, mushroom, sausage and peperoni. My daughter and I shared a slice of plain. It was fairly good — nice cheese to sauce ratio and a nice chewy crust. For just 5 dollars I got the slice and a Kenzinger.. . not bad at all. There were about ten beers to pick from — all bottles. I just wish they had had some more creative pizzas. Maybe I was just there too early? The counter person was nice — I was the only person there at the time and we had a nice chat. Will certainly go back if I’m at the Piazza and looking for something quick as opposed to sitting down and relaxing for a proper meal.

So glad they are finally doing something with the old pizza oven from Kings Oak… I have missed it! Small space in the old back room of Kings Oak in the Piazza; this is a true pizza shop… Two refrigerators(one with soft drinks, the other with a nice selection of beers by the bottle) and pizza by the slice or made to order. The slices are lots of different interesting topping combinations. The prices are good(much better than competitor on 2nd St) And the staff is very friendly. This is going to be a GREAT addition to the Piazza once the weather warms up.

The Every Day I’m Trufflin’ pizza will keep this place in business alone. My husband got a pepperoni pizza, which was better than your average pie. The crust is thin and crisp enough and chewy enough at the same time, and their delivery was so fast. The only suggestion I would have would be to include some side salad offerings so I don’t «have» to eat almost a whole pizza. So good, can’t wait to actually go to the restaurant and see where the magic happens.

Why is it so hard for pizza owners in Northern Liberties to understand… the bars are open till 2am… people leave the bars drunk and hungry looking for food… we stumble over to the pizza joint hoping to grab a slice… but wait we can’t b/c the genius business owners closed at 1am. You wonder why Darlings Dinner despite having some of the worst food in the neighborhood is jamming from 2 – 330 at capacity… BECAUSETHERE S NOPLACEELSETOEAT! Pizza Bar… do your self a favor and stay open an extra 2 hours on Friday and Saturdays.
