I will NEVER, EVER step foot in this liquor store again ! After being in the store less than 5 minutes, their security officer wanted to look in my purse, he thought I stole a bottle of alcohol and placed it in my purse ! Unbelievable! First, I never even touched one single bottle while I was in their store. Second, a bottle of alcohol won’t even fit in my purse. Third, I am not a thief ! Never, in my whole life, did I have an experience like that ! He singled me out in front of the other costumers ! Rude, Unapologetic, and Ignorant ! Avoid this place, unless you want to be accused of theft also !! If I could give this place NEGATIVE Stars, I would !!! I will be going to 20th and market from now on !!!

This store is dirty and has a quite limited selection of drinks. They seem to run out of their deals pretty fast. Do not recommend!

Ugh this one is so jank, just walk 3 blocks and go the the dope ass one on 20 and market. They’re not open on Sundays, like helloo trying get some bubbly for my boozy brunch! And there’s always the top shelf stuff behind this counter but if you even go close to it to check out prices, etc, they freak the f out! Like screammm at everyone. Well, then, how about you come over here and be normal and ask me if I need any help. The people here are MEAN. And, one time I came with a friend who didn’t bring her ID and they wouldn’t let me buy alcohol and were super rude/annoying about it. Ok fine. But then the subsequent 100 times I’ve been here I’ve never been ID-ed. Am I getting old?!

This place has a more limited selection than some of the other state run liquor stores. On top of that, they were out of a few things when I was there. The store is also a bit grungy and in need of a makeover. That being said, I found the staff extremely helpful. When I couldn’t find what I was looking for, one of the employees checked the back for me, then called another store for me to locate the item. On a return visit, I found what I was looking for and also noted that checkout was extremely efficient.

This store sucks. It is dirty, small and unorganized. The staff is ghetto and today the security guard basically stood there watching me the entire time I made my selections. I was not the only person in the store, but he stood and watched me until I made my selection and went to the counter to pay. I will never set foot in there again. Very glad that my time here in Philadelphia is coming to an end. I called the store to complain and the manager is just as ghetto as her staff. Figures.

Convient for after work or lunch run. Small but always stocked.

This is my after-work store due to its convenient location. It’s right on the corner of 17th and JFK, right across from Walgreen’s, and next to the stairs and elevator to Suburban Station. Be prepared for a major wait if you plan on going around 5:00 on a Friday. It’s also poorly laid out so the lines really get in the way of navigating the store. Overall, it’s a run down store with limited selection, but it’s all about the location!

We buy liquor here on occaision because it is convenient. I think the PA liquor laws are really strange and generally nonsensical. They did have some chilled prosecco, though and that was great as I was on my way to a BYO. Not a GREAT store — but OK in a pinch.

A girl got to have some wine once in a while. After a long day of work, I wanted just that. I stopped here to grab some. The shop has a decent selection. However finding anything here is nearly impossible. I mean there are sections like french wine, italian wine, etc. but the way the store is organized is horrible.

After popping out of Suburban Station, I consulted a few mobile apps to find a nearby alcohol dispensary. Strangely I couldn’t find one; I kept being pointed to the Foodery.(I like them, but they were nowhere near where I was.) In disgust, I started walking, and right around the corner — lo and behold — was this Wine & Spirits. Huzzah! While this isn’t the largest liquor store around, it boasted quick, efficient service, and I was able to score a bottle of Patron from their stock for our pregaming needs. It’s convenient if you’re in the area.
