Rite Aid

This Rite Aid is the best in the area for two reasons: First, the hours. The store is open 24 hours a day and you know sometimes you need some supplies outside normal business hours. And the pharmacy is open until midnight, with a legit pharmacist inside until then too. I needed some Sudafed for the wife and of course all the other local pharmacies were closed and while the Sudafed doesn’t require a prescription, it can only be purchased through the pharmacy because it contains an ingredient that some people abuse. I don’t think this is a Rite Aid policy because this has happened in the past and earlier that night at a local Walgreen’s. Strangely enough, i also picked up a generic robitussin that was on the shelf, and when I went to check out, the cashier scanned my ID, just like the Sudafed. So there’s some inconsistency there because if they need to scan my ID for the cough syrup and the Sudafed, why does it matter if ti’s scanned by the Pharmacist or the regular cashier? And what’s in tussin that requires that in the first place? I didn’t have time to argue as I needed to get home in a rush. But that logic does not seem sound.
The other reason that makes this Pharmacy the best is the super helpful Pharmacist. I usually get the jerk Pharmacists who are either unhelpful, rude, arrogant, or bitter. This guy was super nice. I almost doubted whether or not he was a pharmacist because he had such a pleasant disposition. He helped me find the product that treated all the right symptoms, and I was very happy. I will continue to go to my local Rite Aid because it’s closer, but if it’s late night, I know where to go now!

the closest rite aid that I can walk to from my house, and now shop-​n-​bag is not there anymore I’ve been frequenting it more. The staff is usually polite and there’s usually a good stock of the essentials. I’ve found some items to be pricey here esp cat products, I only get them here if its an emergency but their good for the essentials. Their pharmacy staff is nice and knowdgeable as well, I have never had a problem with them, the wait time or my script. I will continue to come here for my needs.
