Starbucks sucks. It’s so awkward and the quality of beans they use are poor. I know it a coffee shop but everyone is so quiet and observing you can feel the snobbery in the air. It’s like pigs at the trough. Id rather go to some family owned place.

I’ve experienced better at this Starbucks! this is my go-to Starbucks until now. I went in yesterday and they were out of decaf coffee. No big deal, they offered a decaf americano instead, which i declined because I was in a rush to work. I go in today, and luckily they had some brewed decaf coffee. BUT, they only had enough to give me half a cup! c’mon now people…

Poor layout. And how do you run out of your signature pumpkin spice syrup? Not one of their better locations. I hope they consider some improved operations. I go to Starbucks for consistency. If they can’t do that they have little to offer. We have awesome independent coffee shops in the city, I’ll be spending more time there going for forward.

Sadly, I finally became one of those people that frequent Starbucks enough where they actually know you by name– well, at this location that is. It’s odd for me to give a Starbucks chain five stars, but the baristas here are genuinely courteous. On top of that, my drinks have always been consistent.

They are very nice. Not the old guys though. The old guys are not so friendly! Also they put a lock on the bathroom door! Guess for SAFETY issue!

Love this spot. Staff is friendly and quick. They remember your face if your a frequent flyer to this spot. Great sites if your a «lookie Lou». Clean bathrooms. Huge plus.

Average Starbucks on south street. Staff was friendly and it has a decent amount of room to sit! I got the smores frap. Deadly but delicious!

This is the closest starbucks to my house and I’m quite the regular here. There is always a line, however they manage it well and I am able to get in and out rather quickly. ie) I can order my coffee and wait without my son freaking out because it takes too long!(very important these days!) This is the only starbucks where I’ve seen dogs inside, which I am a huge fan of. Despite the business of this place, it’s pretty serene inside and I always see people working on their laptops so it can’t be too much of a disturbance. I like that there is outdoor seating at this location which makes for great people watching on South Street! It’s a starbucks, but a very well run one and the baristas always have a smile on their face.

This starbucks is always busy with people ordering or enjoying their afternoon. Recently came in and the cashier seemed overwhelmed by everything going on. He was courtesous and nice but I felt anxious just placing my order which I normally dont(I always order the same thing no special order drink with substitutes, literally i order a tall iced coffee black). Im also a gold card holder and was bummed when I checked out it didnt go through. Instead had to pay cash when I knew I already had money in my card when I checked with my starbucks ap. I didnt want to be the one to hold up a busy line(as simple as my drink order) so moved out of the way. Checked out and didnt get a receipt that I was hoping to redeem at a later time. Bummed out experience. I think they need more than 2 – 3 people here doing everything on a weekend and especially since they’re located in busy foot traffic area.

It’s a STARBUCKS. I’m pretty sure everyone who reads these reviews already knows what to expect… but I’ll write one anyways! :) I always find this location to be extremely convenient and busy — right in the heart of touristy South Street.(If you do come here — make sure you walk one block up to see the Magic Gardens!) The coffee’s hot, the sweets are scrumptious, and the baristas have always been super friendly in my experiences. I like to bring my own coffee mug for refills, too — you usually wind up with a much larger cuppa’joe than ordering a disposable tall, grande, or vente.

I stop in here every morning to get my coffee. Fran and Alayzgia are the NICEST and most polite ladies. They know my drink, they’re always smiling and it’s just a pleasure each morning.

This is my morning Starbucks. They are always so friendly, which is hard to find at 6am these days. Good service. And also, the other customers are much nicer than the Starbucks in closer to 16th street. Coffee always tastes great too. Blonde roast for life. They are also one of the only Starbucks who allow my dog to come in! Super plus.

The baristas here are great and it’s definitely a great spot for people-watching on South Street if you are able to grab a window table/seat. It’s always busy but the service is very friendly and I have yet to receive an incorrect order. Plus, they also have the Evolution Sweet Greens juice, which I haven’t been able to find elsewhere.

Starbucks on South Street. They’re a standard Starbucks and the people-watching is good. They’ve got a couple tables outside and Whole Foods is across the street. Never had any complaints about this place, but I don’t get complicated drinks for the most part. Coffee or the salted caramel hot chocolate. Mmmm.

MY home Starbucks. The baristas know my name. And I can sit at the bar and not feel like a scourge. They accomodate my requests whenever I ask with nary an attitude to be tossed. I love them. As far as a corporate entity goes, this one has the feel of a neighborhood joint, and that’s the story of how Starbucks finally won me over.

Eh, it’s Starbucks. They’re all pretty much the same. The good: The set-up is nice. You can sit at the coffee bar. There are a ton of windows for prime people watching. Their coffee is consistently so strong you’re guaranteed to wake up. The bad: It takes an eternity to get a cup of coffee here. The staff is hit or miss with friendliness. They’ve been known to mess up your order pretty miserably. Not a bad option for coffee but with so many other options in a half block radius I’d recommend checking out some of the more local shops.

So, I’ve finally ventured into this South Street during the weekend. Nice staff. Just wish I could figure out where the trash was and that there was a little more seating. It was a little cramped once it got to be later in the day as I did my work.

Funny Monica was here recently! I was killing major time today and it was chilly Latte kinda weather. My first Latte came from 8th and walnut. They were chitchatty and ignoring the customers. However, the barista made killer foam. I am all about the foam. This Latte was decent, but the cashier took forever to actually ring me/take my order. Then my Latte was served in the stickiest cup on the planet. When I got up to ask for another one it was like I was asking for the secret code to the lock for the twenties. The best thing was the nice man I sat next to who shared the table between the chairs and was chatty in a nice not creepy way.

The next time I think it’ll be fun to watch a scary movie, I’ll think back to last night when I stayed awake until 5am, anxiously waiting to either be dragged out of my bed by evil paranormal forces, or fall into a possessed state and kill my dog, my neighbors, and ultimately myself. Finally, when fatigue overwhelmed fear, I slept, but woke up only an hour later to the sound of my dog’s muffled dream-barks. Thankfully, I knew holy humans with warm, reviving beverages were a mere 2 blocks away. I ventured out into the crisp morning air and despite the darkness at dawn, I thought it better to be mugged than remain captive to my racing imagination. One cup of coffee later, I returned to my doomsday domicile, curled up on the couch and thumbed through my roommate’s coffee table literature: a photography book aptly titled, «Women Before 10am.» Better dreams next time. Avoid«Paranormal Activity;» it will haunt you!
