I’ve taken my dog here for boarding 3 times. Twice he has come home with kennel cough! He’s vaccinated but still gets somewhat sick. The kennel refuses to cover the cost of their own negligence.

Don’t take your dog here if you expect basic hygiene needs to be met. My dog is quite fluffy, and when I picked him up he had several days worth of his own feces caked onto his backside, tail, and legs. On the special needs note that I left, I wrote that he needs a little spray off sometimes because of his thick fur. Apparently, they clean the dogs on the day that the owners are scheduled to pick them up, but they had let him get so bad, that the poop was dried and matted into his fur. It took me 45 minutes to get him cleaned up when I got him home. When I picked him up, they told me that he had become stressed and had been running in circles in his cage (perhaps he needed some care?), but they never called to let me know there was a problem. My poor dog had a miserable experience here.

Dogs love it here. Cheaper than Portland prices, worth the drive.
