I love this place. I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about in regards to «musty» odors. My sniffer is about as sensitive as they come, and I don’t have an issue with this store. It’s an old theater… in an old town… but I find that kindof charming. A little chilly in the winter, but charming none the less. I have always had a good experience with the staff. The fabric selection is large, varied, reasonably priced, and smells fine. I’ve taken a variety of classes and have been very happy with each and every one of them. Their retreats are a treat. I’ve always met friendly and helpful people in the store and in the classes. There are donuts around the corner. Not sure what else I can say about Jannilou Creations, but I guess I should have said it years ago. I shop at a variety of quilt stores in Oregon, and this is my main go-to — primarily as it is reasonably close to my home, but also because it has never failed to meet my needs. Lots of people go to quilt stores and don’t buy anything… I am guilty of this myself. I can’t say I’ve ever been through this shop and left empty handed.

Rating des Ortes: 3 Roseburg, OR
This shop has good selection of patterns and novelty fabrics. The employees have always been civil. However, the shop has musty smell to it, which I find off-putting. I’ve never seen the fabric be anything but clean and dry, but I haven’t purchased anything, because I can’t get past the odor. The samples are good, and so is the selection. I’ll stop here again, and people with less sensitive sniffers are definitely encouraged to stop.
