2 Fat Guys Grilled Cheese

The sandwich was good, but not worthy of a «Best of Phoenix» award. The sandwich was worth three stars, but their behavior knocked it down a notch. When I placed my order, I gave him a twenty as he said the total was twenty. He charged me for a buck fifty tip. I did not want to make a scene, or I would have complained then and there. They should not expect a tip up front, particularly when the service was not worth a tip. Oh, the macaroni salad was quite good.

The name should be 2 Rude Guys Slowest Grilled Cheese. For the amount of time I waited for TWO basic grilled cheese sandwiches, I could have started my own grilled cheese food truck business and made them myself. Not only was it the longest wait for my food, but the service sucked, they were not friendly at all. And on top of it they were out of half of my order but decided to make it anyways with their own substitutions. Definitely the first and last time.

The Toasty Pig was delicious! I am definitely a huge grilled cheese fan and when you combine it with pulled pork, that is just pure bliss. I hope you keep doing what you are doing Two Fat Guys!

I order a supreme special but the thing was that there wasn’t and special about it. It tasted like nothing just plain bread and cheese it looked as if I coulda made that at home and for a cheeper price. I was expecting something better. On top of that I the price showed $ 9.25 but they charge me $ 10 I didn’t make a big deal but that is false advertising.

I have to admit this really was the best grilled cheese of my life (don’t tell my mom). The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was due to the price.
My work in Tempe does food trucks every Thursday and this was the first time I’ve tried 2 Fat Guys. I had my eye on «the king of clubs» and I must say it’s delicious. Cheddar cheese, ham, bacon, and sliced pickles. With a side choice of: chips, macaroni salad, or potato salad. I chose macaroni salad. The food itself is great; a greasy grilled cheese the way it should be. And the service was great, the guys running the truck were engaging and funny.
My grilled cheese and macaroni salad ran me $ 10. Good thing my office has drinks.
Overall, I would recommend this truck if you get the opportunity. And I hope they come back.

I’ve tried these guys 3 – 4 times and each time I’ve been very impressed. They were super busy at the AmeriCan beer fest. But they were super polite and made a seriously kick ass grilled cheese. The Thai chicken was simply amazing. I’m ready for another! Thanks guys!

Plain grilled cheese was ok, way overPriced. The desert grilled sandwich with nutella, chocolate and bananas was good, but hard to eat as the sandwich is covered in drizzled chocolate syrup. Thev wait on fIrst Friday was Ridiculous, over 30 minutes. They also exPect a tip on top of their high pRices. Soda and chip optIons were limited.
