I am revising this review. In retrospect, I should have called the company before attempting the installation ourselves. I’m sure the product works well on newer or more standard size sliding doors. The fact that we have an older home and custom windows, adds complexity to the installation.
We ordered the product and did not get everything we ordered because their descriptions are not clear. Their installation instructions are not accurate. This is what happened when we installed our door. Now I am out the $ 450 for the motor AND get to spend $ 1000 to replace my sliding glass door. Needless to say, I returned the motor kit because it was not the one I originally ordered and was promptly refunded.š2
