Budget Inn Phoenix

This place is a dump!!! We stayed for Dodger Spring training. The clerk asked us if we wanted to check out the room before we paid because if we hated it no refund would be given… wtf? Not only is it located in a shady part of town but her question should have made us run for the hills!!! We stayed because every decent hotel was sold out. Room was gross. Carpet dingy and smelled. Furniture in room was broken and or falling apart. Bathroom was dingy. Tub faucet leaked constantly. My husband saw roaches at night. The bed mattress was flimsy and bowed in the middle. Suspicious people walking the hallways and loitering outside. DONT STAY HERE! I honestly thought the room next to us was cooking crystal meth. Never again!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! 1^st off we get there & its all locked up. The attendant comes to the window & says if we pay cash we need to put down a deposit. That was never mentioned on their site but did a $ 20 deposit. He knew we would pay Friday & had no problem. We go to our room & I always check for bed bugs & I go to lift the sheets & there’s blood & cuts on the mattress. I go to the bathroom & there’s no shower curtain. I call & ask for a new room & the want to put us across from smoking. I tell him that I have an asthmatic child & that won’t work. We finally are moved to another room. My kids unpack & we go to leave & there is not a «do not disturb sign». As we leave I ask for a sign & was told I need to pay the total of my stay immediately or I’ll be kicked out. Needless to say we did not stay. We packed our stuff, blocked my credit card & left. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Booked one nite here, as soon as I walked into the building the hotel smelled, when I was talking to the guy at the front desk he had asked If I wanted to see the room first before I pay for the room, which I thought was very wierd. Most hotels will have a descent modern tv they still have a tube tv, with about 8 channels beds were hard as a rock, they also regulate the a/​c in the room. Oh and here is kicker ROACHES! The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in!

First off it took the clerk ten minutes to come to the counter then another five to check me in. We had a room on the first floor carpets were filthy and overpowered smell of weed. Then the pillow case on one pillow was dirty. Roll of toilet paper was empty. There was a bug in the bathroom. But the ac works great. Wifi didn’t work and the tv was fuzzy with ten channels.

I can’t believe I stayed in this place the carpet smells like fricken pot the room smell like freaking trash and the bathrooms are disgusting and there’s cockroaches in my room

Worst hotel ever! The clerk couldn’t find our reservations! Cockroaches in the bed and when we asked to talk to the manager we were told it’s off hours please come back monday

There rooms smell like wet dog i seen someone overdose on the stairs theres no way to get into the front desk the whole staff is rude theres nothing i can say good about this location don’t even waste your money to stay with there one night there Wi-​Fi sucks and the complimentary breakfast is just cakes and coffee never have i stood in such a slum in my entire life bad bad bad

I got inside info in this place. First the owner is a crazy indian guy from Mumbai who doesn’t care about anything. Hookers, Drugs, Broken into Cars, Armed Robberies, Criminals everywhere, SSI people that live at hotel permanently, Dirty, Sticky, Bad Plumbing, BED BUGS and Black MOLD. Sound like a good time? Then go ahead and pull out your 60 Bucks and stay there.
Honestly most people who stay here just show up with a Hooker for one hour then check out.
This place is rated on the bottom 10 of Phoenix Hotels or Motels. What do you expect from the Man who owns the number 1 rated worst hotel in Phoenix.

The room they put us in initially wasn’t even turned over since the last visitor. Other than that it was okay. The beds were crazy comfortable and the man at the front desk was nice.

Is a clean toilet seat too much to ask? How about working lighting fixtures? Carpets without crusty white stains? Just shy of $ 100 a night? Really?

I stayed at the Budget Inn overnight and I suppose I can sum it up by saying it was OK. I liked how big it was, I liked the bed except the part where I found popcorn under the blanket.
The room was warm and had a fridge and microwave as well as cable and free wifi which is nice.
I did not like how dirty the carpet was, also had a pullout bed/​sofa in my room and it was just disgustingly dirty. The tub in the restroom was rusty and cruddy as well but other than that I suppose it’s a good place to rest your head for the night. Not for extended use.
