Dr. Anderson and his knowledgeable and helpful staff set the bar high for any sort of medical or optical service. I suffer from double vision that I sustained in an auto accident in 2010. While other doctors have thrown in the towel, Dr. Anderson has continued to recommend helpful exercises and strategies that are restoring my eyesight. His fierce intellect and commitment to helping his patients is evident at every appointment. He is willing to spend extra time with me to come up with solutions. He’s given me hope and results. I recommend him without reservation.

Dr Anderson is awesome. He us a personality and is fun to talk to, which is rare with optometrists. Not only that, he nailed my prescription in 30 seconds flat. I see better with these glasses than I ever have before.
I’d like to see some frames like Seraphin and Persol and even some of the fashionable ones only hipsters know of etc in the shop, but they do have a good selection of great frames.
My #1 priority is a good prescription, and that’s what they have there. I also picked up some ray ban glasses and new lenses for other glasses, which fit perfectly!

Driving up you wouldn’t imagine the inside of this office to be what it is. It reminds me of a boutique with their great selection of glasses and sunglasses. I’ve never seen a doctors office with a candy bar but I appreciate that small touch for the younger patients.
I’ve been struggling with eye allergies and Dr. Anderson was shocked that my previous eye doctor had not taken the proper steps for my eye health. He spent the extra time explaining why he recommended new contacts and new eye drops and he answered all of my questions.
My contact order didn’t show up due to the long holiday weekend but the front desk wasted no time offering me some additional trial lenses to hold me over until my order came in.
I highly recommend this office and can’t wait to go back to get some new glasses.

Dr. Anderson rocks! Seriously, he’s super nice, witty, funny and doesn’t waste your time. I’ve been to eye doctors before that were boring and didn’t really talk to me. I never thought I would connect with an eye doctor before but Dr. Anderson made that possible! He conversed with me about my career and swapped fun stories with me.
I’ve been seeing him (pun intended!) since he was at Lenscrafters a few years ago. His new practice is sleek, modern and very nice. I’m almost certain it is adorned with photographs of his own family but I never asked to confirm. He also has a wonderful support staff that are friendly and very helpful! I was switching companies recently and they were able to work with my hectic schedule so that I would be able to see the doctor and get a prescription before my insurance ran out.
I love reading the low-​scoring reviews about how the front desk was «upselling» and pushy. Frankly, I can’t even imagine those poor kids doing that. Have they asked me if I wanted something in addition to what I’ve purchased? Of course. Have I easily declined? Yes, because it’s not that hard to say, «No, thank you.» The place rocks, bottom line. I really appreciate the entire practice!

Dr Anderson is the only eye doctor I’ve seen more than once in the past 7 years. It’s a beautiful office with a welcoming staff. Dr Anderson makes some great clever jokes, gets the exam done quickly, and is amazingly accurate. I’ve sent my friends to Dr Anderson and I drive from across the valley just to see him ever since I moved. It’s worth the drive!

Made an appointment for a routine eye exam and contact fitting. The fact that this place is open on Saturdays AND they were able to get me in right away is already awesome!
The office is very modern and the staff were all friendly. I filled out my new patient paperwork, completed the easy eye tests with a staff member, and was promptly see by Dr. Anderson. I found him to be extremely personable and polite. He listened to my concerns I had with my previous contacts and gave me options to try. During the exam he flipped my eyelids up and looked at them, which I have never had done before! He was checking for allergies — which I suspected I had but had never been diagnosed with. He gave me the name of an OTC eye drop I could buy to help.
He gave me a new brand of contacts to try, and printed out my glasses prescription. At check out I was asked if I wanted glasses — but not pressured after saying no. Same goes for purchasing contacts. My total was a mere $ 50 after insurance.
Great experience, great staff! I definitely recommend!
UPDATE: I had to go back to see Dr. Anderson multiple times after my original contact fitting due to my funky eyes. I had some trouble finding the perfect contacts that fit me correctly, and Dr. Anderson and his staff were nothing but polite and accommodating every time I came in! I could tell Dr. Anderson was genuinely trying to get me into the correct lens, but even he said, sometimes it isn’t easy! He gave me SO many options, and helped me finally find the contacts for me! Beyond pleased with him and his staff!

This is by far the coolest eyeglass ships I’ve between to. Modern meets antique fused with industrial. Not to mention a great selection and knowledgeable doctor!
I definitely recommend Acadia Eye Care to anyone looking top have their Eritrea checked out, or just for a new pair of glasses.

The eye doctor was nice, though he went through all of the tests really quickly putting off the vibe that he may give indulge in recreational uppers prior to performing my exam. He then told me I had a good chance for glaucoma because of a certain attribute of my eye, then saying another attribute was good, so it was «pretty much a wash”– referring to the probability of me getting glaucoma. Not big on Doctors referring to my chances of getting a serious medical condition as «a wash», expand your vocabulary buddy.
The sales staff was pushy, constantly trying to up-​sell me into the most expensive frames the entire time.
In the day of 1 hour wait time for glasses at lens crafters crafters, with no additional charge, I see no reason to go to a place that wants you to wait 2 weeks for a pair of glasses, which by the way, I need to drive. Beyond the inconvenience, I felt pushed and uncomfortable throughout the entire experience. I will never go back.

I have been going to Dr. Anderson for about 7 years. I found him quite by accident. He is a really fantastic optometrist. He has a very calm, relaxed nature, but is very thorough. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Anderson was very unprofessional during my appointment with him. I was completely taken off-​guard by how crude and vulgar he was. I have never experienced anything like it before! The exam was very fast, but it was apparently too fast because my prescription was off– nearly twice the correction I needed in one eye. Needless to say, I had headaches from my glasses, and nausea from my experience with him.
On a brighter note, there is another optometrist there on Tuesdays, who is professional and gave me an accurate prescription.
