Sunbelt Rentals

Our rental experience with this company was a horrible one. When we returned our equipment they pinned damage to a trailer tire on us, but can’t even prove that we did the damage. We were then forced to buy a new tire for the trailer. It’s the company’s fault for not photographing their equipment before it leaves their lot to have hard even that each client is at fault for damage when the equipment is returned.
Then when they removed the sod cutter that we rented from the bed of our truck, they scratched up the bed with the fork lift. Our week old truck is now scratched, and they were very difficult to take blame for the scratches in the bed of the truck. We will be following up with corporate on this one. In the end they will be in the hole because it will cost them more to fix our truck then it did us to pay for the trailer tire.
Being in the contracting industry, I will not recommend any of my contractors to this company. I will not bring my own personal business back to this company, or send any friends and family their way either. I am very disappointed in the lack of policies the company has for renting equipment, and for the lack in customer service standards. I do not recommend using them. Pay the extra $ 50 per rental and go to Lowes or Home Depot.
