I love this place we come all the time and I love the fact most of the girls this location have been there quite a while. I love a familiar face. The haircuts are beautiful and the service doesn’t take all day! Even if the kids are a challenge they seem to make it work. I am amazed how this girls can get such a nice haircut on a moving target. Thumbs up to them!

I will absolutely never visit here again and I was actually sick to my stomach when I left but of course I didn’t want my daughter to see. Yesterday was my daughter’s 1st time getting her hair cut, she is 3.5 years old and her hair was down to the middle of her behind. She was finally ready for a haircut yesterday, and even though I have a friend who cuts hair I took her to Cookie Cutters because I wanted it to be a special experience for her 1st haircut. Plus I had also been advised per a previous call that they support«locks of love». When we walked in I honestly didn’t get a good vibe and should have left, but my daughter has been so back and forth on getting her haircut I didn’t want to leave. As I started to tell the lady at the desk we were wanting to donate to «locks of love» she cut me off and was like, you know it’s full price today. I was confused at what she was talking about so she said, the hair cut would be free Mon-Thurs but not today, do you want to still do it. I told her that no one advised me of that and you could just tell she was annoyed with me and really could have not give a crap if I gave my business or not. I should have walked but seriously I have tried for months to get her haircut. Not to mention we were donating to a wonderful foundation and it was a big deal for us but again they really seemed disinterested and it made this huge day stressful and unexciting! I tried to contain my feelings for my daughter’s sake but I absolutely could not wait to leave. I was also shocked that the woman who actually cut her hair didn’t even ask me any questions on how I wanted it cut after the initial 10in donation. I can say that the total amount cut off was over 15in and much shorter than we were expecting; as I have been donating for most of my life and have never had hair as short as my daughter’s. If you are going to be a company that supports the«locks of love» then your staff should know how to do this process. The woman seemed unsure really and she kept having one side uneven so she’d «even» it out but then the other side would be longer. All I was watching was my child’s hair get shorter and shorter for no reason. I made a few comments but could not really address my dislike in front of my daughter for fear she’d hate her hair. So even though I absolutely hated the chopped look she was given I told her how beautiful she looked. My child’s hair went from 25.5in long to under 10in long now, I’m extremely pissed especially since this was her 1st haircut and it should have been so special with her selfless donation of absolutely gorgeous hair!

Fast service, great looking haircut. I couldn’t be happier. The play area is excellent and the prices are cheap! The play area has a large tree that the kids can crawl through. There are two video game stations and a TV with chairs in front of it.

My husband and I took our 15 month old son here for his first haircut. We’d called earlier that day and made an appointment for 11:40. We arrived a few minutes early and they were able to take him right away. The cut was quick and involved no tears. The price couldn’t be beat! $ 10 got us the first haircut package, which included a picture, certificate, and a lock of his hair. In all we had a great experience!

Had an appointment for a haircut, and the lone employee there was doing a walkin. 15 minutes later she hadn’t even bothered to greet, acknowledge or even make eye contact with me. I busted my butt to get there early for what? My daughter went to climb in the airplane seat(on her own, the employee was now trying to get the credit card machine to work). There were all kinds of mixed hairs in the seat of the airplane, because they hadn’t cleaned it in several haircuts. Disgusting! The floor was dirty too. Then the manager came out to help with the credit card machine. Still not a word from anyone, and by now it’s been 30 minutes. I put coats on kids and told them we were leaving(still nothing, though as you can imagine my kids were in serious meltdown mode). So I went over to the manager and told her I didn’t appreciate being ignored for now 35 minutes, and that clearly they must not need the business. Still not a word. I left, and won’t ever be back. My daughter ended up at Kenneth’s, where they were really good to her. I seriously can’t even believe Cookie Cutters is a real, licensed place. What trash. The previous reviews were spot on.

I’ve been bringing my kids here for 5 years and I am always happy with the haircut and the experience. The place is clean and the people so friendly. Don’t know what I’m gonna do when they are too old for this place.

I agree with the previous post, the staff is not friendly or customer oriented. We went here for my sons first haircut and their camera was not working. We went back and they closed 15 minutes before the listed closing time. The staff indicated they had taken their last apt of the day even though they accept walk ins. I called another location and they said they were sorry that happened to us and gave me the number to corporate. I called corporate and left two msgs. 6 days later they have not returned my call. Very disappointed. Love the concept but the business sense is lacking. I am looking for an alternative business to support when getting my sons hair cut.

They have a really cool concept. The place is perfect for kids — especially toddlers. Mine loved it. The price is a little high for a basic cut with no shampoo($ 15). The reason I’m kind of meh about it is because of the employees. Zero personality. And I mean zip. This is an event for kids — could you at least fake a little enthusiasm? If not, go do something you enjoy. I was really disappointed.
