I wish there was a zero star rating, this place sucks terribly. The food has no flavor, the price is the same as chipotle. The all food there literally taste like garbage with hot sauce on it wrapped in flour tortillas. Best part apart the place is that you can walk to a nearby Walgreens and purchase some antacids, for pending heartburn.

Food was pretty good. Love the different sauces you can put on your burrito. Reason for three stars is that it is kind of confusing to order. Cashier really couldn’t explain menu well. Ordered chips and salsa and only got chips. When I went to ask for salsa she told me that’s extra! I said doesn’t the chips and salsa come with salsa? She said no it doesn’t! Confused but food did taste good.

It’s an ok knock off for the real deal starting with a C. Not a lot of flavor unless you add one of their advertised sauces. It’s ok but not going to be a regular lunch fair.

Over a good meal. I had a chicken bowl. Chicken was flavorful. Rice could have used a bit more seasoning. Chips and queso was really good! Really liked the kids menu. The lil’ bowl was a hit with my two year old. The many different options is salsa and sauces was a nice change too!

Good fast casual burrito place clone of you know where. The«other» place changed their tomato salsa and that pushed us to find alternatives. Large portions with lots of flavor choices. White Rice could use a bit more flavor but the sauces and salsas made up for it, especially the pico which blew the«new» recipe of the other place away. Service was a bit slow but not to the point of frustration. Even had small bowl option for my little one. Double sticker Tuesdays was a bonus! Everybody in my party enjoyed their meal, will return for sure.

This place is definitely a viable option to Chipotle. When I think of Hot Heads I think more flavors, better meat and coupons. Great place

YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! My husband and I went here for dinner. We were in the mood for Chipotle but thought we would try something new. This was the WORST decision we ever made. The food is nasty and now I have gotten sick from it. I will never eat at one of these Chipotle knock offs ever again! Not to mention they are definitely more expensive in my opinion.

Overall a good atmosphere. I was actually overwhelmed by all the choices they offer. Simplicity is something I look for, and even though there was a lot of choices, I was impressed when I did choose all of my ingredients. I think they have prepackaged food, that I wish was prepared in-house. Also, it looks a little messy, there reason I like the«other» restaurant chain is because of the industrial feel and organized atmosphere. Like another reviewer said, it feels like a cafeteria style set up. The food did taste good, and I did like how they have the menu set up into different categories. I think I’ll give it a second chance.

OMG Timothy hit the nail on the head with his review. HOTHEAD definitely needs an intervention. The service is horrible, management is clueless and the food is so blah I could go to Taco Bell and seduce my taste buds. Seriously, good idea gone wrong. Terribly wrong.

One of our favorites. Always fast friendly and delicious. I can’t believe the reviews are as they are by being low rated. Don’t listen to that try them. They are the best.

Living in Pick-town, I get excited when I see new establishments pop up. This location filled an end unit in a strip mall that has been vacant for the past five years since I’ve lived here. I stopped in for a bite with my five year old on our way home. Its set up cafeteria style, where you choose your meal as you walk down the line. We got a bowl of nachos for just under $ 7. Food quality reminded me of growing up in my large family of five kids: We were raised on the economy versions of entrees and thought off-brands were the standard. The food here definitely took me back to those memories. I could pick up some ingredients from Aldi’s up the street and have the same flavor experience. This place takes the«safe-route» and makes even corporate Chipotle seem risky. Nothing spicy enough to offend, nothing memorable. Just fill you belly food in a brisk paced setting.

I have heard a lot about HHB from friends but have never been because of location. When they opened one in Pickerington I was excited to try it. My Husband and I went the week after it opened. 1st thing walking in it was dirty… I thought it’s only been a week! There was trash, napkins and such, on the floor and the floor itself had dirt like it hadn’t been mopped in awhile. Next my husband and I were 3rd in line when we went in. It took forever to get through the line. About 6 people came in after us and I felt bad for them. Basically the cashier wasn’t trained all the way and the line workers were very confused. One very flustered assistant manager kept running up and down the line basically 2 seconds from losing her mind. To make matters worse what I believe was the GM was sitting at a table doing paperwork ignoring the chaos that was ensuing. I did see him grab everyone after the line died down to «coach» the employees. This was all while I was dining in their dining area. It was entertaining. Dinner and a movie. The food was just ok. Nowhere near as fresh as Chipotle but just as expensive. For 2 people is was $ 23!!! We had two bowls, chips, and drinks. I won’t be back. I will go to Chipotle.

I wish i could rate this 0 stars. The service was HORRIBLE, the portion for price was laughable and the complete disorganization \ speed of the staff was on a whole new level of pathetic. I arrived with 1 person in line in front of me an 1 person at the register waiting for the final touches of his order to be completed. First I noticed the prices. Around the price of Chipotle however I was intrigued by this«lil bowl» concept. Less food for $ 2 less. I decide that is what I would select. Needless to say my choice was the only good thing that came of this experience. I waiting for OVER15 minutes to even get to the register. Mind you by the time i was at the register BOTH people in front of me were still waiting to pay. On the process over to the register watching the complete circus the 2 «assemblers» had finding salsa, sauce, and different toppings was on the level it should have been on Funniest Home videos. They were clueless and if that wasn’t bad enough the attempts to keep the mood light one of the«assemblers» kept high energy asking me to add more toppings but then again failing to find them. The Manager came out to replace the guacamole and a line behind me had formed of over 5 people. Remember as i entered I was the 3rd person, now more than 8 were in line and yet no one had been checked out and sent on their way. Really?!? unacceptable. You would think a quality manager would see this, apologize, interact with the guests and assist their overwhelmed employees. After the manager placed the new guacamole in the service line and i heard her explain a certain assembly of food, i could tell why this business is failing. She seemed like she didn’t know the difference between rice and pasta. Clearly has no idea how to manage a restaurant and even more clearly no idea how to support and manage employees. Sad to see in a new business. Now lets talk size. I ended up paying $ 5 for a lil bowl due to asking for guacamole.$ 1 for a «lil» guacamole. WOW… this bow was so small for the price, i feel it should be labeled a «kids meal» and i should have got a shinny prize or toy with it. Finally the taste. Most important part in food, lets see how the stack up. The word BLAND would have been an upgrade. No flavor even with the green Chili sauce. I thought I was eating a bowl full paper and cardboard. To say i was left satisfied would we be the understatement of the world. In the end if this is Chipotle’s competition, I hope you are ready to all be unemployed. Service FAIL, Taste FAIL and management FAIL. over all this business is a HUGEFAIL. This 1 customer that passes your business daily and will avoid it like the plague. I will drive the extra 15mins to my nearest Chipotle and enjoy tastey food, great staff and quality service.

Place is fairly new, but been around a few weeks. Certainly enough to get out of any growing pains. Since its new, it seemed clean and fresh. Fare is burritos, and are served EXACTLY like a Chipotle. You can also get tacos or a bowl, again, just like Chipotle. Ingredients seem fresh, but just like Chipotle, skimpy on the protein, but heavy on the filler(rice and beans). No, I dont like Chipotle, and I dont like this place. To make matters worse, the cashier grossly under charged us. When we finished our meal I brought it to her attention. She was absolutely clueless. I tried in vain to explain what she did, but I could tell I might as well been asking her was the square root of 639 was. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me she would not be available until the rush dies down, as she was working the line. Really? So we sat down… already finished with our meal, and waited. After I saw how slow they were getting through customers I decided to get in line just to be able to speak with the manager. I told her I thought we were under charged, and she agreed. We went back to the cashier and confirmed she didnt charge us for our entrees(burritos)…only the $ 2.21 for each of our combos, which adds a small bag of tortillas and a drink.(salsa is $.70 extra for tiny, tiny cup… about enough for 3 chips!). The manager did thank me for my honesty, but didnt hesitate to direct the cashier to charge me. She asked what we had, and I told her one steak burrito, and one small chicken burrito. The cashier rang it up wrong and charged us for two full size burritos… another $ 16! At this point, I didnt even bring it to her attention, as I was shocked at the fact t that a burrito was over $ 8 each! So in the end…1 reg. burrito, 1 small burrito, 2 tiny bags of chips, 2 tiny cups of salsa, and 2 drinks… over $ 23. We will not be going back.
