Absolutely the best pizza in Baltimore. In fact, the best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy! Their tomato sauce is sweet, not tart as is often the case, they use high quality mozzarella, and their dough is just thick enough and yeasty. I never thought I would find a pizza like this in the U.S. Roberto Fiscella

This is my favorite pizza place of all time. Everything about this restaurant is great, from the food to the location to the service, this place will always have my business! In addition to their amazing pizza, they have fantastic cheesesteaks and salads. The restaurant is located in a really beautiful area right next to a big lake. The servers are quite charming and helpful as well. This is a great spot for families or large groups and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this spot to anyone and everyone!

If you’re in the Pikesville /Mt Washington area, this is the best pizza you’ll find. If you’re getting a slice or two, best time to come is the busy lunch hours, as they will cycle through their pies quickly and you’re assured fresh pizza. All their specialty pizzas are great — faves include white pizza and chicken bacon ranch. Can’t go wrong with slices, as they are big and only $ 2-$ 3.50 a slice. Their salads are fresh and big, but on the expensive side. Their pasta dishes are huge, from what little I’ve seen. French fries are basic and they take longer than the pizza to warm up. At least you know they’re fresh, but you can skip the fries and not miss anything. Seating is self-serve, and when your food is ready, one of the employees will carry your food out yelling your receipt number. Pay attention or you will wait a bit if they miss you. This part could be done better.

Pizza Blitz has very tasty New York style pizza that reminds me of my favorite place when I was a kid. They also make fantastic sandwiches. I’ve been impressed with the service and friendliness of the employees every time I’ve been there. It’s my go-to pizza place now.

Pretty good pizza. Better than all the local pizza chain spots, dominoes, pizza boli, etc, without breaking your wallet in the process. Also now that J and P’s closed down its the only choice at quarry Lake. Luckily they don’t abuse that with poor pizza. Have had the vegetable and pepperoni pizzas. All were very good with a thin style, so not excessively doughy. Will go back.

I came in for a takeout personal(10″) margherita pizza and a side order of garlic bread, which I think was pretty cheap($ 10.50 without tip). It did take quite a while(I think I waited like 25 – 35 minutes after placing my order, and people who came in after me and ordered larger pizzas left before I did, so maybe 10″ isn’t a common size?). The person who took my order(maybe the owner or manager?) seemed a bit curt and brusque, but the servers were perfectly fine and greeted me when I walked in. But, the pizza was quite good(I could smell the fresh basil wafting off of it as I walked back with it to my car) and the garlic bread suited my craving for it. It’s a convenient location to me, and I think the price was perfectly reasonable(I got two meals out of it, but I guess I eat smaller, frequent meals). I would do takeout again, but probably call it in ahead of time.

I go there frequently food is just ok. I’ve gotten at least a ½ dozen free meals for mistake that have occurred. I felt like every time came in to get food something would happen The owner is very nice and tries to please. I’ve waited for an hour for food got a free meal. made a mistake on my pizza gave me the one I ordered plus the mistake one. Ordered Greek salad no olives once and another time put canned sliced olive not Kalamata olives, and sparse on the feta. Since I’m Greek I know what a Greek salad is. Again owner gave me gift card for another meal. Pizza is just ok. Crust some times tastes like burnt flour. It’s a close to my home so it make s it easy when I don’t feel like cooking to go there. Cheesesteak is pretty good and their stuffed shells taste good but you only get 3 medium size for S9.99. At Seasons you get salad bread and 5 jumbo stuff shells for the same cost. Someone mentioned they delivered, They don’t.

Pizza Blitz is the kind of neighborhood restaurant that one dreams about. Starting the minute you walk in the door to your last bite of their food. The friendliness of the staff to their knowledge of the dishes makes you want to try each item of food. Did I mention, the taste of the food? There is an old world taste that keeps bringing you back. Pizza Blitz, the neighborhood restaurant that screams… good taste and service.

I am a newcomer to the Quarry-Mt. Washington area. I’ve sampled pizza at Blitz at least three times in five weeks and each time it was absolutely delicious – from pepperoni to Hawaiian to plain cheese! I’ve eaten in and found the service fast and amiable, and I’ve taken out. I’ll be back again and again in the future.

Great pizza & wings in the Mount Washington area! We moved to Owings Mills and it’s a bit of a drive for pizza, but when we lived in Mt. Washington, this was the ONLY pizza place we went to. Love this place! If you’re in the Owings Mills/Pikesville area and this is too far for you, try Garibaldi’s. Being from NY we’re used to good pizza & wings, which is very hard to come by in Baltimore county — these two places are the only ones we go to for pizza & wings. Highly recommended!!!

Stumbled on this place looking up what’s nearby. Very friendly staff. Very clean & roomy. Not your typical«pizza joint.» The gentlemen even asked if this was my 1st time and how had I heard of them. I only had plain cheese pizza slices and I told my coworker to try it here too. We both really liked it! Pizza was hot and yummy. Nice sized slices too. I would definitely go back!

Pizza Blitz is decent. It’s a little expensive for a sub or pizza, but the quality of the food almost earns the price. Order a cheesesteak here and you’d better have an empty stomach or plan on having it over two meals — they’re huge! Friendly staff, decent dining room, speedy service.

A great neighborhood pizzeria. Big fresh crisp salads. Try the Buffalo Chicken pizza spicy hot chewy crust yummy. The pastas are homemade large portions. They don’t have a liquor licence so BBYO. enjoy

This place is a poor man’s version of a pizza shop. I’m not saying that it’s all a miss, but it certainly has a ways to go to be on par with a Pasta Mista type eatery. The restaurant itself is fairly nice — a bit disjointed in feel because you have a line of booths and four tops in one area, a handful of high tops over there and a section of large round tables on the opposite side. I guess they couldn’t decide what feel they were going for, but at least it’s clean. As for the menu, it has all the workings of a decent shop but the food falls short in execution. Our most recent meal here consisted of a Greek Salad and a slice of cheese, white veggie and chicken pesto. The white veggie had minimal flavor at best. The excessive amount of ricotta cheese did nothing for it except almost highlight the rubbery texture of the mozzarella. The hubby enjoyed his slice of chicken pesto and cheese — but this is also coming from a guy who used to think the old Domino’s recipe was good.(I’m just saying…) As for the Greek Salad, what a miss! We essentially paid $ 7 for a half a head of iceberg lettuce, one plum tomato cut into quarters, three slices of cucumber, some sliced onions, carrots and a sprinkle of pre-chunked feta. Where were the olives? Better yet, where did the carrots come from? Pre-chunked feta cheese, really? Utter fail. I haven’t completely written this place off — I’m just not rushing to come back either.
