When we found the Sandwich Shop up the street closed for lunch, we headed down to the soda shop at the drug store. The drug store is still there, still filiing perscriptions, but sadly, the fountain is permanently closed. These folks used to serve a pretty good burger.
It was starting to feel like we’d come all the way to «Mount Pilot» only to end up eating at a Mickey D’s.

This place has a soda fountain that’s open during the week only. I had a cheeseburger with mustard, chili, slaw and onion, and it was very good. Onion rings were crisp. They have a different special each day, and today’s was a philly cheesesteak, but they had already run out when we got there.
