The male owner is absolutely horrible. The food is decent, so my family has been going for years but always try to avoid because of the male worker. They close at 7pm (so early) so I called to place an order for pick up around 6:30 and the male owner picks up and said «no the kitchen is closed» and just hung up!!! Couldn’t believe it! So incredibly rude and I will never order from them again and I’ve been spreading the word to avoid this unpleasant deli.

The sandwiches and salads that I have ordered have always been good, but the male owner is horrible to deal with. He’s incredibly unpleasant — which is mostly why I avoid going here.

Always creative always good. Pr made lunches and dinners are always good. My favorite though is getting plain meatballs in their great sauce and accompany with veggies like carrots or broccoli rabe or grilled cauliflower

Marra’s makes a quality chicken cutlet, mozzarella, and roasted pepper sandwich for $ 8.00. The sandwich is good, not the greatest thing around but is prepared quickly and will fill you up. If you take it home and toast it, the true flavors come out. It’s also a neat sandwich that makes little crumbs and can easily be eaten while driving. I do this all the time.
The female owner is a pleasure to deal with but her male co-​owner is rude and looks like he hates everything about his job/​life. Do us all a favor and take some pointers from the nice woman you stand next to all day because she knows how to greet and treat customers.

Tried several times with co-​workers, never again !! Chicken Parm sandwich is totally Dry No sauce., ordered a salad with Caesar dressing, barely any dressing, ordered a Salad with House dressing, same thing they make it so Dry & REALLY your house dressing is just Plain Vinegar! No Oil NO Seasonings??. Very Poor Quality food.

Marra’s is a staple lunch at my house at least once a week. while I’m there I always grab an entrée to make for quick dinner later on in the week. The owner might be the sweetest woman I have ever met in my life. She is always greets me with such kindness. The food is amazing. I have never had anything I didn’t like. It sticks close to my grandmothers cooking and I like that it makes me feel at home.

I was introduced to Marra’s by some co-​workers who said this place has excellent sandwiches. Well. they were right. The meatball sandwich was great, with tasty meatballs and sauce. The bread is very fresh. My favorite sandwich is the rib eye cheesesteak, which is out of this world! Generous portion of high quality, tender steak (not that cheap Steakem style «meat»), red and green peppers, and onions. This is by far the best steak sandwich I have ever had! The food is delicious, and quality stuff too. The prices are reasonable. The place gets busy around noon, so call ahead if possible. This place shouldn’t be missed!

Marras is overall your straightforward jersey Italian deli. Nothing more nothing less. You can get a pretty good sandwich here. Your not going to run on hot coals for a Marras sandwich but you are not going to be disappointed either. If you are in the Montville/​Pine Brook area give Marras a whirl.
