This is my second visit to 153 Main and it was as good or better than my first visit. I had the filet and lobster special and it was perfection. My wife had the beef tips and raved about the flavor. The service is fantastic and all of the staff are friendly and accommodating. A must visit if you are in the area and worth the drive no matter how far you live away!

Dined at 153 Main Bistro last night. Food was outstanding. My daughter had the swordfish, which she raved about, my husband had the short rib, which was fantastic and very tender, I had the filet which was delicious. The service was fantastic, everything was served beautifully. We are locals, but our first time to visit this restaurant. We had heard wonderful things, we were not disappointed. We will definitely be back!

Just opened in Pine Mountain — we ate there on the way home from Atlanta, bypassing some fine restaurants but we are very glad we did! Brittany our waitress was young but knowledgeable and opinionated — which we appreciated. Cool vibe. Fantastic grouper –beautifully prepared, perfectly cooked, mushrooms on top the definite pic! Onion soup was savory, topped with gruyère cheese was one of the best. Beef tips were perfect comfort food as was the organic chicken. Yum yum! We will be back!

This is the best fine dining in town!!! The price is a little over priced, but Awesome food! Like that the food is organic and that they use local markets to buy their produce! I will definitely go there again!

I’ve been wanting to try 153 Main since it opened, and it didn’t disappoint. It has a fantastic atmosphere. The custom-made bar, in particular, was really nice. The exposed brick walls and pressed tin ceiling make for a beautiful space. The food was delicious; we had seared tuna, crab cakes, lobster bisque, and short rib. Everything was great. And last, but not least, the service could not have been better. Can’t wait to go back.

Hubby had the fried crab claws which he rated a 5/5, even though it’s an appetizer it filled him up for his meal. I chose their house Berger and fries, I’d give it a 3.5… The fries were over salted/seasoned from the kitchen. Ambiance is casual but elegant at the same time. The menu unique, and their focus is farm fresh, local grown. Service was exceptional and with a friendly welcome! Kudos All in all a very nice date night. We’ll be back again.

We stopped in on a whim after reading the other reviews and have never been happier about a good choice! We couldn’t decide what to eat so we let our waitress Sandy help us order some appetizers, fried green tomatoes(thick slices with the best ocra I’ve ever had!), Mozarella cheese balls, crab claws(steamed not fried) and lobster bisque. We all shared these and even my children were happy! For dinner we had another mix of food– Burger, scallops, filet, chicken tenders and the topper was the short rib I ordered! Honestly the most amazing food I’ve ever eaten and I had to force myself to stop eating! It was an amazing unexpected treat in this little town and the food was by far better than many of the fancy ones in my home town! A true treasure! Owners and chef also came over to say hello– maybe to see what group was eating so much! But they were both just wonderful! So kind and truly seemed to love their place in life!

Cozy and comfortable with five-star food you don’t usually find in a small hamlet like Pine Mountain, Ga. Great place for an anniversary dinner or birthday. Family friendly. Great staff that works hard to get things right. The food is better than anything I ate in NYC. $$-$$$ price range but worth the drive. I have not been disappointed in my three visits since they opened and look forward to going back whenever possible. Be sure and try the organic ice cream brought in from Ohio, really delicious.

Family came to Pine Mountain for Thanksgiving and Callaway Gardens fantasy in lights, found this awesome little bistro while in Pine Mountain and decided we would give it a try. I had never heard of fried lobster tail but decided to give it and the braised beef short rids a try. The wife had the cowgirl 12oz ribeye and grilled lobster tail while our teenage boys had the shrimp and grits and the cowboy 22oz ribeye. All of it was great as was the service. This will be our new dinner spot when in Pine Mountain Georgia.

Dined at 153 Main Bistro last night during our stay at Calloway Gardens. It’s the most modern restaurant we saw in the area. Exposed brick walls with an industrial feel and lively atmosphere. They’re in their 2nd week of being open so still working out the kinks. My favorite meal we ordered was the Organic Chicken with prosciutto and mushrooms. For sides, I chose white cheddar mashed potatoes and local vegetables — a perfect pairing to compliment the entrée. Lots of flavor. $ 18. The fried green tomatoes and okra made for a tasty appetizer. $ 9. Things to note: the lobster bisque is very salty and the butternut squash ravioli is fried with lots of butter. They have a nice bar area. The appetizers and salad/bread came out in good time but they had an issue with our main entrees. The chef sent out a complimentary appetizer in the meantime since we waited about 45 minutes from when the bread was sent out. Our server was great. Has tons of potential and the area really needs a place like this. I wish this establishment all the best! And I would like the interior designer to come to my home!
