save your money and buy something else, the stuff they sell doesn’t grow as they promised even with the stuff they sell on the side, how i know? well let me tell you i purchased 1 year ago the biggest planter they had for bamboo and to this day it hasn’t even grown a bud, yet they claimed i would see a whole bunch within 2 weeks

Should be open on Saturdays, close Sunday & Monday! Have shopped there on Saturday before and drive 15 miles to find it closed. Shopped on Internet instead…

Really, this is an exquisite place. Clumping bamboo does not invade and there are so many many varieties. Island Bamboo has so many great plants, container, gifts and the staff is really top notch. It is a great place to roam around, feel tranquil and at peace. By all means, go to Island Bamboo.
