This is my new«go to place» when I want Mexican food. Don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else. You have to try this place.

My family decided to eat here after seeing some positive reviews. We walked in the door and were seated immediately. Chips and salsa were brought to the table. Average. The waitress did not speak much to us and was not very attentive when refilling drinks or chips and salsa. The taco salad was very«soupy» too much beans, sour cream, etc. The steak fajitas were nothing special. Average. Overall our experience was average.

Great food! Very tasty and affordable ;-) I have the combination fajitas with shrimp, chicken and beef. The service was also very quick. Highly recommend!

So far, this is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The waiters are incredibly nice and sometimes fun as well. The food is always on point! The ACP Tex is my favorite dish. Their chips and salsa are pretty good too. Many other people we know absolutely love this place too. You should definitely try this place if you’re craving some Mexican food!

Good solid Mexican food at a very reasonable price. My chili relleno was particularly good, as was the salsa. My burrito and taco were good but not great. The guacamole was serviceable. The rice and beans were also good. All the food was good value for the price, as everything was inexpensive.

I didn’t have the guts to try the oysters, but the shrimp were surprisingly good. Pretty solid Mexican place out in the middle of no where. I run around with a group of people every Tuesday. We find waterfalls, swimming holes, and other types of adventures. The local area is great for this, and I love the fact that we got to eat some real food without having to try and prepare it on the side of a mountain. This place seems to stay pretty busy(at least during tourist season), but there is plenty of seating. The menu is HUGE, as it is at a lot of Mexican places. Prices are reasonable. Food was above average. All in all it did what it was supposed to do. Although, I don’t think they have a liquor license, which means no margarita’s. Oh yeah, they have french fries!?!

This NC gem has everything you want out of a tex mex place after a day of hiking. My friend and I are both vegetarian and we found several appealing options without resorting to filling up on the meh rice ‘n’ beans side plate. Highly recommend the fajitas: oniony but delicious, and they were amenable to the substitutions we requested. Salsa is also quite good. Not the best Mexican I’ve ever had, but exactly what I needed tonight.

A good meal for a good price. Very typical of Mexican food in NC. My family of five all found something to order and enjoyed our food. The server recommended the special, which two of us ordered and really liked. It was so close to our hotel, so it was perfect after a busy day visiting the area. We would definitely return if we are here again.

While Los Arcoiris is not the super outstanding, great, fantastic Mexican restaurant that many people are searching for, it is a good, solid Tex-Mex place for quick Mexican food. WIfey and I have been going to Los Arcoiris for many years… and have settled on a couple of dishes that we both enjoy. Wifey loves the Chicken Chimichanga. This dish comes with the ubiquitous Mexican Rice and Refried Beans. The rice and beans are nothing to write about… they are filling without being great. My dish is quite interesting… as Los Arcoiris is the only place I have found it. The dish is Huevos con Chorizo, basically eggs with Chorizo sausage. I absolutely love this particular dish. Is it better than other restaurants? I have no way of knowing, as I have never found it other places…

Los Arcoiris serves up respectable mexican food for those on a budget. My carne asada was really good, not the best I’ve ever had but nicely flavored and seared. Others at the table enjoyed the quesadillas, chili rellenos, tacos and enchaladas.
