The best place in Charlotte for watch repairs. Hands down. I use them at least once a month for my watches. Everything from batteries to bracelet/​band adjustments, to case back gaskets. They are friendly, honest, and very fast.
The last piece I took to them was a vintage Hamilton. It was designed so that battery changes required the crystal to be removed. Crazy. Unfortunately, the old battery had leaked inside and destroyed the movement. They refused to accept any money for their time.
I trust them completely for advice and service on all of my pieces. They have helped me with Quartz and mechanical/​automatic watches of every price range. I have quite a few. Haha

I was at a jewelry store and a couple of employees tried for 20 minutes with no luck to get a spring pan into a band. They said try the watch doctor at Carolina place. It took them maybe one minute to fix the watch and it only cost three dollars. Done right and done quick and very inexpensive.

These guys are unbelievable! I took a relatively expensive watch to be repaired because it was running slow and not keeping time. Was told it needed a whole new inside. $ 200. Weeks later after calling several time I was able to pick up the watch. After a few days, watch was still slow. I returned it again. MONTHS later after no calls, I called and spoke with the owner who was clueless as to what was going on with my watch. Said he’d call me back within 24 hours. 2 weeks go by and I call him. Said he was sending the watch to Atlanta to have it repaired because his watch repairman died. SEVERAL MONTHS later I call. Again had to wait for owner to call me back in 24 hours. You guessed it, no call. A week or so later I call sand spoke with owner who said the watch was now in New York. More months go by, I call and just speak to one of the guys at the Pineville location. He said that the note on my watch said I was picking it up and to refund me $ 200 and they were just waiting on me! NO ONE CALLED ME,! Today, I pick up my watch on to have the stem fall off and now it’s completely non functional! THEY HAD MY WATCH FOR TWO YEARS!

I came in to have my new watch band sized to my wrist. What I didn’t realize was that I didn’t have the watch clasp completely open before trying to fit it over my hand. So the gentleman working there put in and took out a few links before we figured out what the issue was. So the watch was exactly the same when I went in as when I came out, I still wanted to pay him for his time and service but he would not accept any money. This place will be getting all of my business from now on.

This family run, local business is one of my faves. They treat you like a valued customer and always offer excellent, fast service. From watch batteries, to clock repair, to jewelry sales, you can count on them for their honesty, knowledge and excellent craftsmanship.

I brought several pieces of jewelry to be repaired. They did a really good job. Then I brought a old pearl and gold beaded bracelet to be restrung. After a few weeks, I received a call that they wanted $ 100. to restring the bracelet. I really wanted it done, so I agreed. 2 months later I received a call to pick it up. When I did, it was missing a strand, and was very tight on my wrist. I was told that this was how the bracelet came in and pearls are always tight when restrung. I left the bracelet and came back when the manager was there. He told me the same thing. After insisting it had three rows of peals and gold, I was told that sometimes people don’t remember what they brought in, and that there was no value to steeling this type of material. He informed me that he would call the women who strung the beads and call me back… even deliver the bracelet to my house. I felt better beginning to think that maybe I was wrong. I never received a phone call, so I went back to pick up my bracelet. I found a paper in the envelope they claimed they had found a picture of my bracelet on line. It was of a two stand bracelet. To my surprise the purchase price of this bracelet was $ 44.00. I know what I took in to get fixed and it is not what I received back, also if they claim the bracelet was only two strings… why would they charge more than twice the value of the bracelet to restring it?
