Let me begin by saying I hate the dentist. Not any dentist in particular, and especially not Dr. Oliver. I would rather let a King Cobra bite me in the throat than go to the dentist. That’s how much I hate it. But alas, The older I’ve gotten, the more I realize seeing a dentist is a necessity. When you avoid the dentist for years at a time, your teeth suffer. Things break. Cavities happen. Old fillings fall out. Your mouth hurts like heck. Constant mouth pain is awful. Hence, I was forced to see the dentist. I was so nervous/​anxious, that I actually brought a change of clothes in case an «accident» were to occur. But guess what? No accidents occurred and I obviously survived, because here I am writing about the hands-​down (see what I did there?) best dentist I have been to in my entire life. Dr. Oliver and his staff were nothing but understanding, accommodating, professional and genuinely good folks. I recently saw him and my mouth hasn’t felt this healthy since… I can’t even remember…

Our family of five have been going to Dr. Oliver for almost 20 years and we have never looked back. There is no better dentist around, even when the patient is a little child. Dr. Oliver and his professional staff actually make going to a dentist a pleasure. Whenever there is any possible pain involved, the procedure is over before you know it as the soothing environment, calm staff, and conversation will have brought you through it. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. You will always feel that you are the only patient there and they care, which they do.

My spouse, three children and I have been cared for by to Dr. Oliver for about 4 years. Our teeth are well cared for, payment plans are always affordable, and Dr. Oliver puts my kids at ease every time. I have moved out of the area, and new insurance is being a real pain BUT I will continue going here because there is no where better. I have had many dentists, and I am pretty easy going, but when it comes to my children only the best will do.
If in doubt, check all his reviews, including the «8 filtered» which is a joke because there is no reason to have filtered the reviews. I can not remember the last time I read a review and they had 5 stars in each review. 10 for 10 — way to go Dr. Oliver!

I’ve been going to Dr. Oliver since the 80’s. He is a great and caring dentist. I’ve recommended several friends to him and they love him too. He has a great support staff everyone is caring and professional. After my semi annual cleaning… I always get a carnation and a piece of sugar-​free candy along with my new tooth brush kit.

Dr. Oliver and I first met through a student of mine. In this conversation I saw that Dr. Oliver wasn’t your average Dentist. His deeper structural understanding of the anatomy in his field was exellent. The feeling of professionalism/​family you get in this office is top notch. I take my whole family in for their dental work and they absolutely love the whole staff and are always completely satisfied with the work they recieve. The staff is always friendly and professional while going out their way to make you feel at home. If you are single or have a family, this little dentist office in Pinole is for you.
