I had used this guy before and liked his work. My GE dishwasher was leaking so I had him come over. He was able to fix it no problem, charged me $ 135 for the part and $ 125 for labor. When I went to throw out the garbage he had left behind, I saw the invoice for the part, it only cost him about $ 40. I went to the GE website and looked up the part and found that I could have bought it for about $ 58 including delivery! I understand that the guy has developed an expertise and deserves to be paid for his knowledge. I was happy that he fixed my dishwasher, but I felt screwed because he had charged me nearly triple for the part.
