The famous signature pork sausage this store has is incredible. I usually grill mine on the pit. They use Carlo Rosci wine as a ingredient. Make sure to get the spicy flavor not mild. They are a bit expensive but well worth the price.

This used to be the best kept secret of my childhood, until everytime I make a pot of sauce or sausage sandwiches for friends where I live now, and they say… oh is this Parkside Market sausage? My secret is main stream now, and I am no longer the man. With that said, you must buy the sausage and try for yourself, second to none, period! You do have to take it home and cook it though, so while you are there, pick up a deli sandwich. The french bread is another Pittsburg secret! Jamal and family have kept my neighborhood corner store going strong, and their community relationships and service are also commendable. Thank you Jamal, keep up the good work!

Very friendly staff, the beef sausage was really good quality, my family makes it Hawaiian plate style with steamed rice… soooo tasty. This place is a Pittsburg gem!

Business hours are: Monday thru Saturday 7:30am — 8:00pm I have had parkside at BBQ’s over the years, but finally made it to the actual store this year. Great deli and good meats. Love the Italian sausage.

It’s like family in here! Italian sausage, tritip, and made to order sandwiches! It’s like a West Coast bodega. You can’t go wrong!

OMG! This one of the only things I miss about living in Pittsburg is the Parkside market Hot Links and sandwiches. You can buy 4 links for $ 6.95 or the whole pack of 20 like o got for $ 24.00 it may seem a little steep but the flavor and the quality is well worth it. Once you bit into one of these links you will never want another link from anywhere else and they make them on site. These are only sold in mild or hot so if you are ever in the Pittsburg, Concord or Antioch area! You must stop by Parkside market for the hot links. They also make other sausages like Italian, bratwurst etc… But nothing is better then the hot link.

Been buying the sausage here for over 15 years, always requested at parties. Just wish they were open on Sundays for last minute sausage cravings. Close on Monday instead of Sunday Parkside…

Ahh! I love that I actually get to do a Unilocal review on Parkside market! Being a true pittsburgian(born and raised) and growing up in parkside –warren way! Freeway side to be exact!-it was a must to stop by and get a parkside sandwich on roll. Hella good. try it. For years I came to this corner store, every morning on my way to school, on my way home from school, and during the summer whenever I wanted a snack or a pickle. It’s full of memories and familiar faces. I love parkside market! Side note: If your lucky, you’ll see Carlos walking around parkside. ‘Memba me?! Yes Carlos, I do!!!

Right down the street from my familys house, i been going her since i was a kid, riding my bike with friends and going to the«corner store» as we called it to grab some candy, those little juices that tasted like cool aid, and a pickle from the pickle jar that was right theyre when you walk in, they also have good meat packages, and are famous for theyre links, best of all the sandwiches!

This is another Pittsburg icon. Not for anything other than their Italian sausage which comes in hot or mild. I pretty much hate sausage so it took me years to convince me to try this one. I only like the hot, there is nothing like it! Definitely 5 stars for that. However, the actual store in the inside is pretty old and grimey looking. It has a very distinctive smell when you walk in which I assume is a result of all the spices they use for their meats. The staff is friendly. I know my boyfriend’s family are on a first name basis here. The location is extremely convenient for energy drinks, beer, snacks and Lotto. They also do check cashing here for select checks. They are no longer open on Sundays either. Lastly, whatever you do, don’t ever buy a large pickle from that pickle jar! I never would anyway but I’ve seen the neighborhood crackheads hands all up in there, gross!
