Loves this place. Tried the Rocky Road, Pistachio & Pancake Bacon cup cakes. They are all awesome. I took the mini Rocky Road & Pancake Bacon cup cakes to work & they were both a big hit!

Love this place!!! Every single person that works her is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Cupcakes are amazing and you can really tell that all ingredients are fresh! I would recommend them to anyone. They also have a happy hour on Sunday’s! Check them out!

Really disappointed in this place as a first time customer. My boyfriend went in to see about a cake, just to see if it was a possibility they had time for one and be ready by saturday. We figured no since we were last min. I think the lady we spoke to was either a owner or baker (vibe we got from here) and right off the bat she had a lot of attitude. She talked to him with a tone and seemed annoyed we would even be asking for a last min request. BTW it was a pan cake nothing to fancy.
I’m sure the reviews on here are only for the taste of the food, because your customer service really sucks!

Tried a couple of different cupcakes. They were awesome. Would definitely go again! And recommend you trying some too!

Hands down the BEST place ever for cupcakes!!! The Pancake N Bacon is beyond words. I’m still working on trying new flavors. So far each one had been wonderful. The service at times is slow and there’s a need for more training with some employees. But the cupcakes are seriously worth it!

I cann’t stand a particular worker the one with her hair collected in a bun. She has to be the worst customer service person I have met. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!! Management has to take her aside and School her. She needs to be fired!
As far as the food, cup cakes, cakes, danishes very good!

Every gotddamn cupcake is delicious. It’s friggin ridiculous. I hardly come here as I’m on a strict food plan but when I come I’m never dissatisfied.
Bonus: they have $ 1 cupcakes daily (jumbo and regular size). Better come early BC they go fast !
They extended the location and now have a frozen yogurt side. This establishment is really picking up momentum. So proud of the owner.
If ur every in down town pittsburg come give this place a visit. Expect moist chilled cup cakes and 2lb to ur weight!

Never had any problems with this place. I absolutely LOVE their confections. The cupcakes are to die for, just a touch on the rich side but oh-​so-​worth-​it. The creampuffs remind me of the ones my grandmother used to make. The eclairs are delectable especially with some coffee in the morning.
The staff are pleasant and helpful, especially when my Husband made a run and didn’t know what to get me. They asked a few questions and pointed him in the right direction, I was very pleased with the choices. It’s definitely my Go To for cravings.

Can’t get enough of this place!!! Zingers and cannoli are my fave … But all are great!!! It’s really a great place to have a special treat!!!

We love this place! The cinnamon rolls are to die for and the cupcakes are always a treat!

My sister and I walked in today to try their cupcakes. The amount of sass I got from one of the bakers took me by surprise, though, I should’ve known given the name of the place. Not that it bothered me because it was good humorous sass.
Anyway, I got a Bacon & Pancake, and she had a raspberry shortcake. When I took my first bite, it was like an explosion of sugary maple delight with the scrumptious invitation of bacon finished with the moist sweetness of pancakes. It was so tasty! If I weren’t in such a hurry to get back home, I would’ve waltzed right back in for a dozen more.

So I have been a big fan of Sassy Sweets since they’ve opened. The moist texture of the bread and the delicious frosting complements the cupcake. Divine!!! I try to eat my sweet guilt slowly because I just don’t want that moment to end.
Choosing different cupcakes:
I am always afraid to try a new cupcake since I’m addicted to my red velvet. However, when I do try a new flavor I start making new «favorites». I’m never disappointed by them.
Prices: The prices vary depending on size of cupcakes and other sweet treats they offer. They are worth fulfilling your sweet cravings.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Really now??? I ordered 1 and a half month before my bf’s birthday. I called how many times and you said you’re going to give us a call, but we never received any calls from you so we had to go to your store if you could do the cake for us. 2 weeks before the bday, you said yes you’ll do the design we requested. On the day that we supposed to pick up the cake, you called!!! And what did you say??? There’s a problem with your baker and decorator? Like WTF!!! We were expecting the cake!!! You should’ve atleast called us 3 days advance before the birthday so we could’ve ordered to a different store!!! You f*ckn ruined our plan!!!
Boooooo on your service!!!

This hidden gem is by far the best cupcake shop I’ve ever been to. I have tried several of their varieties (Pancake N’ Bacon, Rocky Road, Ice Cream Sundae, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Chocolate Cookies N’ Cream, Thrilla in Vanilla, Irish Car Bomb, German Chocolate, Bob’n for Raspberries and several more… I know I have a problem!) ALL of them have been unique and delicious, however my personal favorite is the Pancake N’ Bacon. They really go above and beyond to develop these flavors and create a variety of options. Not only that, but they make 3 sizes in almost every variety so you can try a few more flavors without committing to too many calories by just getting the minis! I’ve been there a few times with my wife and we’re thoroughly hooked now. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful and it gives us a great reason to head into Pittsburg for some dinner.

was gonna put 4 stars but their customer service has been atrocious lately. all but one of their workers needs to up their game and not work like they’re dying or they don’t wanna be there. I called to find out if they had bread pudding and the girl must have had her phone on mute at the shop because I was pretty much screaming into the phone. I had hung up after several tries thinking it was my phone but I was able to call Southwest Airlines, Capital One, and Target with audible ease.
if you want your customers to keep coming back, Sassy, please tell your workers to be kinder — and check your phone, it might not be working

Excellent selection of cupcakes and I believe they have ice cream on the other side! They had a bacon and pancake cupcake, red velvet, and the dark chocolate with strawberry was to die for. Will definitely be going back… don’t forget to check in on Unilocal for a $ 1 off coupon!!!

Where is the customer service these days. Is it really that hard to be polite and courteous to paying customers. I mean it’s Christmas Eve for crying out loud. She was rude, short with me, sarcastic. She acted as if she didn’t really want to help me. It’s not like I was buying 1 cupcake, I was buying 3 dozen of them. I called before I got there to place an order and she said I couldn’t, but while I was there someone else called and she they could if they paid. I’m like wait. What. If it wasn’t somewhat of an emergency for a holiday party I was have just walked out but I didn’t. And if that wasn’t enough I asked her a couple times a couple times to not crowd the cupcakes in the box, because I wanted them to look nice when I got home. And she does it anyway. I had to ask her to remove some of the cupcakes because they were touching and the frosting was smeared on the others.
Sad thing is usually love this place. I have come on several occasions to buy cupcakes for my daughter’s school and for myself but don’t recall having an experience like this one. But I realize today that every time I have come I was helped by the co-​owner. Well today I wasn’t and now my feelings toward this place has totally changed. Just a bad Christmas eve experience.
Maybe it was a good thing that I had this experience because now I can spend less time on the treadmill and I’ve a few extra bucks in my pocket too.

You want a Caramel Cupcake? They have it but you better LOVE Caramel. Caramel cake, caramel filling, caramel frosting, with Caramel drizzle. (I used Caramel as an example but literally everything is like that). It’s just too much. I go here every now and then (about once a month when I get a sweet tooth, ya get me, ladies?? Lol) but even when craving sweets I feel like I need to chugg a gallon of water just to get off the sugar rush. I can hardly eat half a Cupcake because of their sweetness.
Note to sassy sweets, tone it down on the Sweet, find a balance. You can’t cover the world in frosting/​caramel/​chocolate ganach. And tone down the Sassy as well, your customer service could use some tuning.
My favorite is the «sassy pistachio» it’s not as sweet and it’s actually a bit refreshing (but I always take off about half the frosting, and scoop out the bit they put in the middle because again TOO MUCH.)

I’ve been eyeing this bakery for a while now, so I’m happy I made it out to downtown Pitt for these decadent desserts. I ordered a Pancake n Bacon cupcake.
I was soooo pleased! The cake is so moist and you’re hit with maple syrup flavor with bits and pieces of bacon cooked into it. And the frosting with the bacon on top… drool. And for only $ 2.75?! Another plus, you can request for your cupcake/​cookie/​cinammon roll to be heated! Yum.
I’ll be back. And I’ll be sure to bring more friends.
