Randomly stopped in at Threads in passing after grabbing Starbucks next door… and walked about with a lighter wallet. It’s a nice little boutique that should appeal to those with an urban fashion sense with a little prep thrown in. You’ll find a limited, but nice selection of sneakers from classics in the shelltop category to casual Lebrons, some nice coats, and a a good selection of basics(denim/flannels). As most boutiques go, the selection is limited, but well put together. In talking with the owner — who’s a super nice dude — you’ll see that he takes pride in finding some harder-to-find items and he’s definitely willing to work with you to get you out the door looking good. It’s a small space, but definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. The prices are fair and there’s always a chance that there’s a deal going on. As mentioned earlier, you’ll be set if you’re looking for urban style, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised if you’re like me and more geared towards the athletic prep style.

The day before Thanksgiving, we were both done with work early and decided to meander in here when we had gone to Starbucks. It is a new, all menswear store on Carson St. next to Figleaf. We were very pleasantly surprised by what we encountered. Despite some of the more urban apparel which is not my hubby’s style, there is a lot of other urban prep or other menswear that is pretty fabulous. The shoe selection had some very unique choices, and the jackets were great too to be more specific. The gentleman working was the owner and he could not have been more helpful… he was awesome. If you are looking for good service, unique threads and shoes at a fair/reasonable cost, come here. You won’t be disappointed. We weren’t :)
