Sarah Costello, Luanne Crosby and the team at Pittsford Florist were excellent to work with and really brought our vision to life for our August wedding at Bristol Harbour. My husband and I weren’t exactly sure what we wanted and Sarah and Luanne talked without throughout our engagement, getting a sense of the kinds of things we liked. They were creative, wonderful to work with, and always available. When we wanted to scale back on the budget without losing our vision, they worked with us and made it happen(one month from the wedding, no less!) I loved that they took our pinterest boards and other inspiration pieces we sent them and created a space that drew on the outside beauty of Canandaigua Lake and was unique. They also happen to be two of the nicer people I’ve ever met. I would definitely recommend them!

My husband ordered an arrangement for our anniversary yesterday and they arrived fresh but it was rather small for the price and the ugliest arrangement I’ve ever received from any florist shop. Clearly a rookie made this or an elementary child. I could have bought 3 large beautiful bouquets at Wegmans for the same price and been 5 star happy. We will NEVER order from them again. I can’t believe they are proud of sending such poor quality arrangements. Big or small they should put pride into all their work. Shame on you Pittsford Florists!

I was sent a beautiful arrangement of fall colored flowers in a simple clay pot from this florist to my workplace several days ago. They still look fresh & make me happy every time I look at them!

This shop probably hasn’t been updated since the early 90’s and it shows. Not only is their work sub par, but the pictures that they have hanging to represent their work are beyond awful. While flipping through a book that represents their wedding work i was embarrassed just looking at it. Although there were plenty of pots and containers in there that were pretty, they were beyond overpriced. They wanted almost $ 70 for a ceramic pot I could pick up at marshals for $ 25

My mom was in town this past weekend and wanted to bring some flowers over to the house since she was meeting my roommates/seeing our place for the first time. First stop after the airport was breakfast at Hicks & McCarthy’s. As we were walking down Main St we spotted Pittsford Florist. Perfect timing! The shop has that clean cut Pittsford-y looking exterior with a nice window display. Inside it’s a typical florist shop… except for the staff. The lone woman who was working that morning is easily the most miserable human being I have ever been«helped» by in a florist’s shop. She was cold as ice and just downright rude. Forgive me for not knowing what a water pick is. She looked at me like I had 5 heads and scoffed, «You’ve never seen a water pick?» *insert so much sass* To her credit she did not take advantage of us. We gave her a price range of how much we wanted to spend and she respectfully stayed in the middle. In the end, the arrangement was pretty and the price was right, hence the 3 stars. Would I go out of my way to return here? Absolutely not, as I am sure I can find a friendlier shop that does the job just as well.
