I used to work at a Subway in Costa Mesa a long time ago and I was pretty shocked at the customer service I received on the 10th around noon. Ivan was the one up front who was so invested in chit chatting with his friends that we waited for over 10minutes to be helped. No hi or I’ll be right with you– just ignored us completely. The girl in the back I assumed was on a lunch wasn’t since she never clocked in before helping us. After he was done talking to his friends he did not help us but pawned us off to the female worker. I was pretty annoyed by the customer service and how much of a hurry I was in. I decided to come back to grab food today being the 19th of November. Ivan was the first person to see me and ran to the back just to tell the girls working that I was«back». The two girls walked out staring at me and smearking at each other.(I was the only one in line). I live and work by this subway but I don’t want to wait nor feel uncomfortable trying to grab food. I would suggest going to a different subway with way more friendly employees

So you only have one employee working Ivan was his name and someone he knows comes in and they have a 20 minute conversation he makes his sandwiches cashes him out, keep in mind me and my gf are just standing there waiting for 20 minutes with no acknowledgement from him at all that we are even there. After he cashed him out, he continues his conversation and I’m about to flip out. If you work in customer service, understand that you need to make your conversations short and sweet regardless of who comes through your doors do your goddamn job and pay attention to your other customers that are coming in and paying for your services! I visit this location every so often since it is considerably close to my house but I will go to the next closest location on Yorba Linda and Rose because of this. You don’t get paid to stand around and reminisce about high school with your old buddies when you have other customers waiting on you to finish your little 20 minute conversation about what college you go to or how long it’s been since you’ve last seen someone, save that petty crap for after work or on your lunch break!

The past 4 times I have been there I feel like I was shorted on my veggies! I asked for extra olives, the guy repeats«extra olives» and puts FOUR olives. Thats sad dude, come on. extra anything means don’t be stingy !! Food is normally fresh though, Ill give them that.

If I could give no stars I would! Not only did the big girl with glasses make a sloppy sandwich she also manhandled the hell out of it. She just picked up and folded it with her hands didn’t use the knife to make it neat AND totally tried to leave pieces of avocado behind that I am paying EXTRA for. The guy that rang us up was nice and the place is clean but if that girl is making your sandwich make sure you ask for someone else!

As u can see, this is my 1st review on Unilocal. It’s unfortunate that it has to be a negative one. 1st Bad Experience: A few months ago, I moved to Placentia and of course, I decided to look for a Subway that was on my way to work. It happened to be this Subway on Yorba Linda Blvd. My first 2 – 3 orders were excellent, no problem!(male sandwich artist took my order). Then my 4th order was a disaster. I called in the morning and a female picked up and took my order(I think she’s the only female sandwich«artist» that works in the weekday mornings), which was a STEAK&EGG on flatbread. I stopped by, waited for about 8 minutes until she was done making a sandwich for a customer(which is fine, I can wait b/c she was already helping out that customer — first come, first serve rule), she let me know that my sandwich was ready. She asked me if I was there to pick up my STEAK&EGG flatbread sandwich — let me rephrase that again: SHEASKEDMEIF I WASTHERETOPICKUPMYSTEAK&EGG flatbread sandwich and I nodded. I paid and I was on my way to work. When I got to work, I opened up my sandwich and b/c I was starving, I took a quick bite realizing it was NOT a STEAK&EGG flatbread sandwich but a BACON flatbread sandwich. Me being a person that has bacon allergies, I quickly spitted out the bite I took. I decided to call the store and let them know that my sandwich was made incorrectly. When I called, the same female picked up and I calmly explained that she had made my order incorrectly. After hearing what I had to say, she kept insisting that she made the order correctly(with an attitude of course) and that I had ordered a damn BACON flatbread sandwich. Okay 1st of all, I know that sometimes people can mishear over the phone b/c of the background noise or whatever but how the hell does BACON sound like STEAK&EGG??? 2nd of all, why in the world would I order a BACON flatbread sandwich when I AMALLERGICTOIT! Last but not least, why would she ask me if I ordered a STEAK&EGG flatbread sandwich when I was about to pay??? After explaining that I was allergic and I almost ate the bacon, she didn’t even apologize but asked me if I wanted to come back for a new one… umm no. I would have been totally satisfied and understanding IF she would have 1. Acknowledged her mistake(b/c she CONFIRMED the order with me when I was paying for the damn breakfast) 2. Apologized sincerely with a sincere tone b/c the BACON could have KILLEDME3. At least offered me credit or something for my next visit but instead I just told her it was fine and told her that I was going to eat it w/o the bacon. I hung up and that was it. I didn’t even try calling the store manager or owner. I just decided that I wasn’t going to order from this store ever again. So until now, I have been going back to my Rowland Heights store even though(still the best service ever) it is about 6 – 8 minutes out of the way from my work. 2nd Bad Experience: I was late to work today so I decided to call this store and give it a try. I assumed that it would be fine since it’s been a while since my first bad experience. When I called and of course with my luck, the same female picked up. Without letting her know that it was me or anything at first, I ordered the same breakfast as last time. After taking my order, she asked me when I was picking up the sandwich and I told her right now and said OK. Before I hung up, I told her about 2 times to make sure it is a STEAK&EGG flatbread sandwich, not BACON. After clarifying it with her, she immediately realized that it was me and told me that my order was going to be ready in 15MINUTES. Okay WTF? At first she tells me the OK that I could pick it up right away and then after realizing it’s me, she tells me it’s going to be ready in 15 minutes? Are you f*ckin’ kidding me? No sandwich takes 15 minutes to make, especially on a TOGO order. I laughed and I told her to cancel it and w/a jolly tone, she said OK and hung up on me. Clearly this female sandwich«artist» has a very personal problem with me. Like what I wrote in the beginning, I never wrote a review in my life. My 1st one ever. I just want people to know about what kind of person works at this Subway store. Another reason I am writing this review is so I can copy paste this review to so the appropriate action is taken b/c after reading all the other reviews about this store, it looks like it not the 1st time ESPECIALLY with this female sandwich«artist». It is giving Subway a bad name. Store Manager, GM, Store Owner, Subway Corporate — please fix this issue immediately — her and this store makes Subway’s sandwich look unhealthy.

How can you hate on Subway?! Location: This Subway restaurant is located in a shopping plaza on E Yorba Linda Blvd & E Kraemer Blvd. Parking: This shopping plaza is very large and consequently the parking is also large to accommodate the kind of traffic it gets. Plenty of spaces for you to choose from… take your time! Subway: Ok so personally I’m more of a Quiznos fan for many reasons but it’s harder to spot a Quiznos than a Subway probably because Subway spends a hell of a lot more on advertising than Quiznos does. I ordered the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki 6 inch on 9 grain oat bread with pepper jack cheese, avocado(+$ 1 extra), spinach with pepper. Yeah I don’t get to crazy about loading my sandwiches. It was toasted nicely and tasted good and my stomach was full… as it would be in any Subway. I like that this particular location has Horchata! 4 stars for the amazing customer service of the staff and cleanliness. Unilocal 1002015 Challenge: 24⁄100

Came in for a quick family dinner. Disappointed that although we were the only customers in the store with a party of 5, and five employees behind the counter, they had just one employee who helped us. Took a long time. Edwin helped us and he was great, but I don’t know what everyone else was doing.

I usually like Subway and i still do! Im not sure if it was just i was visiting there in not good time or something but the workers there were very distracted! Also, i could see they were throwing their sanitary gloves all over the floor i know they are not using it again or something but still you know. And also, while we were ordering/choosing the ingredients for sandwiches other employee just cut the line and made himself sandwiches. Hmm im probably won’t stop going to Subway but definitely im not coming back here!

Working next to THIS Subway location Monday through Friday 5 days a week you would think I’d eat anything other than a franchised sub. However, this location has really set the bar high for other Subway chain restaurant and has had me coming back regularly. Yes I may be biased because of the convinience but I genuinely enjoy the service and honesty of the workers. Being a self-proclaimed foodie(look me up on Instagram @deanthekiid to see my foodie adventures) I am picky of the preparation and quality of my sub and these guys always manage to do the job right. Their veggies are assembled neatly and are fresh. My regular sub artist is Jasmine; she always has a smile on her face and makes a great effort to converse regardless of the work load and does so in a timely manner. I have seen these employees deal with some of the worst customers I have ever seen and each one handles every situation very professionally. The only down side is the high school kids. They can get pretty rowdy at times, but if you can handle that I would highly recommend stopping by. BTW some of these reviews are not even the correct location. This location is in the Bradford Center on the corner of Bradford and Chapman.

I went here today for lunch and had a horrible experience. I have Been going to this location for years and never usually have a problem that’s why I’m giving them 2 stars instead of one. Now to my visit today: As I was standing in line I was greated with«I will help you if your ready to order» as she stood behind the bread rack not visible to where I was at. Her name was Cena I believe.(Her name tag was hard to read) she informed me the subs I was ordering was an extra charge not nicely but didn’t know how much. I get people have bad days and your not always going to run into friendly people but it didn’t stop there. I asked Cena 4 times if I could have one of my foot long split in half and her aknowledging it everytime and I still didn’t get my foot long split in half. I asked for pickles she gave me onions. Anytime I asked for anything on my sandwich it seemed to be a problem. I asked for the mayo to be put on the bread not the cheese and she said ok and continued to put the mayo on the cheese. I felt like her worst enemy and couldn’t wait to get out of there. I wanted chips, cookies and drinks but decided to stop somewhere else on the way home to get them. I stayed nice and didn’t complain except at the end I let the cash register guy know I asked her 4 times to split my sandwich in half and it still wasn’t. He said sorry. Sadly I’m going to have to find a new subway to go to.

When I was in graduate school I looked for places that I could do my work without being bothered too much as the library at Csuf was used more as a social area than a place to work. This was my place. The workers, every single one of them, we’re the friendliest people I’ve come across in the area. I’d come almost every day with books. I’d get the exact same thing and they knew my sandwich. I’d sit for a few hours reading and occasionally refilling on ice tea and I was never shooed away or given dirty looks. All the employees were caring individuals. The owners should be very proud of everyone: Ricardo and Gina in particular. If you’re in there and they’re there, strike up a conversation with them. I’m sure their jobs aren’t the most glamorous and a bit monotonous with the assembly line of sandwhiches so any conversation is probably appreciated. Thank you random subway on Yorba Linda. It was a great three years using your air conditioning and company. I moved away a few weeks ago and if I go into a Subway it feels like I’m cheating on you guys. Good luck to Gina on her massage therapy school and Ricardo on his IT program. Good luck to the young man that dated Natalie(I cant think of your name!!!) with your history program at Csuf in the fall. And everyone else there thank you from the bottom of my heart. 6 inch wheat. Chicken breast, toasted no cheese. Spinach, lettuce, tomato, a tiny bit of oil and avocado. Chicken soup but only if it wasn’t warm outside.

My experience her was ok they have this new thing called The Dodger Meal which is a 6 inch, chips, and a dodgers cup with the schedule on it I asked the lady working how much is it because it doesn’t show the price .The lady said she didn’t know so she went to check and she still didn’t know so she asked another worker and he had to check and they finally gave me the price. When I come here I usually get oil and vinegar on my sandwich and usually they give you a squirt and the girl making my sandwich overdid it and when I ate my sandwich one half of my bread was super soggy I was kind of mad but I ate it ok food bad service oh and by the way I took the soggy bread off and I only had 1 price of bread.

I eat here way too often but that should say something since I actually drive past two Subway’s which are closer to my house in order to come to this one. The staff is friendly(even the guy who doesn’t seem to know what ‘Chedder Cheese’ is and twice has tried to give me a different type by mistake). Cookies are normally fresh and they have Orange Bang! A big plus that the place always looks fresh and clean too!

Me: Footlong white… Sandwich Artist(SA), yes, they call themselves that: Sorry no white. Me thinking: What? Really… Me: Footlong honey SA: Sorry, no honey wheat Me thinking: Are you kidding? Seriously? Me: Ya got wheat? SA: What size? Oh this is not going off to a good start. But this does end well. The other artist understood I was a little irked loaded my sandwich when i said I want everything. So okay, I’ll come back… I can deal with the wheat.

I wanted to review this Subway because it’s close to home & we come here alot. I love that the employees are just nice, always. I’ve never had a bad experience here, I always feel like they’re sort of looking out for me as corny as that sounds. For instance, they took a coupon once that was expired(shhhh!) just cuz they knew me. haha. It’s the little things that make me feel appreciated. :-)

The foot-long Veggie Delight(a.k.a. «salad on a bun») that my husband ordered for our picnic lunch yesterday was, by a slight margin, the freshest and best tasting I’ve had from any Subway in the last six years. Not only were the ingredients — spinach, tomato, green bell pepper and pepperoncini — delicious, they were so dang fresh that they nearly snap in your mouth. Yum! Best of all, however, was the fact that the sandwich team here was all smiles when he asked them to «pile on the veggies, please.» No stink-eyes or fuchi faces here from the staff when — gasp! — you opt to «eat fresh,» just as Subway the company suggests. We’re fans of this particular Subway, and will be sure to return for future picnic meals.

Bad… inconsiderate… unsanitary… Came in one morning, one of the women who made our sandwiches kept letting her sweatshirt sleeve drag into one sandwich while she added veggies to the other… 1) disgusting and 2) is her sweatshirt even clean? Unsanitary. Two occasions when I ask for more veggies, the women roll their eyes as if «how dare I ask that.» On a veggie delite, I think I’m entitled to more veggies than they would otherwise put on different subs. Bad/Rude As a vegetarian, I love the veggie sandwiches. i do not, however, like when one person will start my sandwich with new gloves and pass it to another person who just touched meat, to build my sandwich. Sometimes, the people don’t even bother switching gloves from a previous meat sub. Inconsiderate/Disrespectful. I’ll continue to go,. but only because its the only one nearby. I don’t ever expect much from such a franchise, but you’d think with all the renovations, they could(at least) renovate some of their staff. I’m not saying that all their staff is horrible. Just a couple of people. Most are really nice, but those select few ruin the whole experience. I will update when this staffing problem is fixed… but it’s not like this ONE review matters to such an extent.
