There’s not much to say about an inspection station, except that other states need to catch up with the times! I’m from NY and the DMV does not offer free inspections there. I was lucky enough that when I went to a nearby gas station that was going to charge me $ 80 for an inspection, the guy was nice enough to inform me of this phenomenon. I ended up going to the Plainfield station and was in and out in 5 mins. The best part is you can go online and check the wait time camera, so you can decide when the best time is go. This camera is updated frequently and is really accurate-​believe me for giggles I refreshed when I got to the front of the line and sure enough, there I was! This was a great experience-​fast, friendly and knowledgeable staff… I wouldn’t have it any other way!
