Is it possible to give NOSTARS!!! This place is gross. I should have known better than to go to such an establishment. But I needed some chicken for a last minute road trip. They apparently NEVER change the cooking oil. It was the worst chicken I’ve ever tasted in my life. Oh and avoid eating ice cream from here. The guy behind the counter uses the ice cream scoop water to rinse his hands.

The fried chicken is great but for the location & atmosphere I’d have to give it 2 stars. Not the safest place at night, but great late night food if you’re willing to take the risk.

It has that urban feel and that urban neighborhood look. On a sunday night, customers come in to do take out. Their menu seems extensive, but I decide to stick to its namesake and go with fried chicken and try some sweet potato pie. Impressions: The flavor profile seems simple. salt, pepper and garlic? Although simple it gets the job done and the chicken has a light batter which gives you the impression its the kind of chicken cooked at home and not over-commercialized. The sweet potato pie is ok in flavor but I protest the crust is too thick. Overall not a bad place to do take out or grab a quick bite to eat.

Tacky. Can I write a review that short. This is a greasy spot that if you are drunk you need some food stop here. They have mini fries the cheap frozen ones that are quazi soggy. I ate there over the years and it is just tacky, tacky tacky. Chicken gets a fair and an excellent if alcohol is involved. I must say you can keep rolling by this one!
