Staff was really friendly. They took the time to show us the different boards they had to offer. One guy even helped replace the bearings for my longboard for free. Super friendly, super helpful, and it was really comfortable environment.

The manager here is horrible. They lost my reservation for my three children, that I had already paid for over the phone, and told me I needed to look it up on my phone. I told them I didn’t have it. So, after arguing with me, I asked her to look through her files. They found two of the three kids reservations. Finally after 25 minutes, they found the other one!!! All three kids went to surf for only 35 – 40 minutes. I paid for an hour! I told the manager I felt the kids deserved more time, she said she was«sorry» they were booked. The kids had fun, but since I’m paying, I won’t be back! Also, there are so many kids, each kid only surfs 3 times. Not worth it! FYI… I did try to find a corporate number to call because I hate to post these things however, I could not find one.

The manager at this store is pitiful. I tried to take my son and several of his friends to surf and I have never dealt with someone less accommodating or with a more horrible attitude. A little bit of customer service goes a long way and this store has NONE of it. No matter how fun it looks, we will not be going back.

DUDE! Indoor surfing was totally Radd!!! I had been there before with my brother and it was really fun. Sooo this time I took my clumsy friends with me and we had a blast trying to «surf»… I would def recommend this for people who like water filled activities. Plus its great cause you don’t need to know how to swim for indoor surfing duh

I took my four nieces surfing with a Groupon deal 2 for $ 20. Honestly, paying full price isn’t worth it. The experience of learning to surf is great. However, you pay for 30 minutes of surfing, but you only get to surf for 5 minutes if there are other kids/adults. Only one person is allowed to be trained or surf at a time, which means that you will have to wait and watch other people. That would be fine if you didn’t have to pay for a full 30 minutes. Pay to watch others surf… no thanks. You can do that for free on the other side of the glass. If you’re an adult, go during the week, business hours if you can. I’ve got one more Groupon, so I’ll be going back, and I hope to be there alone so I can get my full 30 minutes.

I have been to the aqua shop 4 times now and I have had a great time on each visit. I have brought my son and some of my friends and we all have a good time. Some instructors are better(more outgoing) than others, but I learn some new tricks each time.

The staff was awesome! This place is great. Couldn’t have had a better time. My girlfriend & I came into town for a wedding & had to check this place out.

My daughter loves it! I bought the Groupon for my daughter, 9 yrs old, who has talked about wanting to surf for a long time. I was a little disappointed that I had to use the entire hour for the Groupon instead of 230-minute increments, but she did it! Going forward, if there are more Groupons, we’ll see about bringing a friend with her for 230-minute increments. I believe they said that would be okay; it uses the Groupon up with one visit and that may be the point. We found a time when she could be the only person in there; there is an instructor who helps the children and overseas the room for safety. These guys are great! They coached and helped her get used to the board and take baby steps. At the end of the second hour(second visit) she was balancing on her knees, half standing. She wants to keep doing it, but we’ll go to 30 minute visits in the future! There’s a place to sit for those watching where you’ll stay dry! And there’s a quick out to the parking lot. My daughter is very athletic, but there’s definitely a learning curve here.

They ran me off before I ever stepped foot in the store! They were more concerned about getting my personal information logged into their website instead of having fun and pleasing the customer. I had a paid Groupon for a 60-minute session, but had to call Groupon to redeem my money because Aqua Shop would not let me make a reservation over the phone. According to Aqua Shop, Groupon holders have to make reservations on the Aqua Shop website. Which means creating an account on the Aqua Shop website and providing the following: Email address, phone number, full name and home address … all required fields! Sorry, I’m not comfortable with giving my home address and phone number to anyone. I’m asking the Aqua Shop employee why they need all of my personal information when I already purchased time, I just need to come down and have fun. Alas, the goal of Aqua Shop is not to have fun and make money, but to collect your personal information. The Aqua Shop employee told me that my only option was to get my money back from Groupon because that’s just how Aqua shop operates. I don’t think any company that is more concerned with bureaucratic red-tape instead of getting customers in their doors is going to last long.
