Liked the store & products. However, I called today & this retail location in Plano is no longer open. They are only taking online orders at this time. Unfortunately, I needed the products today for a gift.

I had a place similiar to this concept close to home and then it was closed down =[ So when I saw the groupon for this place I was super excited and had to try it out! You can pick any products from lotion, bath scrubs, or even wet wipes and then pick what scent you want. You can mix and match the scents too and to help they have a menu to give you a few ideas. I am sure most of us know what kinds of scents we love so you can customize it to your liking. The concept is awesome but I dropped a star just because I do find them priced high if I didn’t have a groupon and the products itself isn’t high quality. oh I also LOVE that you can have the product dyed a certain color like PINK!!!

Dropped in for the first time on Valentine’s Day and bought some scrubs for my Valentine. The Customer Service was great and we love the products. Notice I said«we» — I have been using the Coffee scrub as well, and I love it. Take some time when you go in to go through the scents that will be added to your product — I was lucky in that I knew my love loves Eucalyptus.

Most of the people who write these reviews have a complaint, but I do not. I met the owner today. I came in with a non expired groupon and had no trouble. I always have a groupon when I go in there and have never had an issue. She was very nice and friendly, and it is obvious why she has been in business for so long. The products are wonderful. I have chronically dry skin, and am in healthcare. The Shea butter with mango cream keeps me from getting chapped hands even though I am washing my hands more than 40 times a day and using hand sanitizer. The Shea body lotion keeps my body smooth and soft instead of dry and itchy. I refer all of my patients with dry skin there, as their products are the best. They may be more expensive than Bath and Body, but I do not have to use as much of their product to achieve better results without feeling greasy.

Clearly this store is used to customers complaining. I didn’t say anything in my post about a groupon. Maybe she got me confused with another unhappy patron. Instead of attacking customers that are sharing their experience, why not apologize for their lack of satisfaction in an effort to at least pretend you know an ounce about customer service

Cool Place-Cantankerous Owner I love the products and the concept but EVERY time myself or people I know visit this location the customer service is poor at best. The owner has such a snobby attitude and doesn’t «sell» or even care about repping her products. I’m an attorney and could provide better customer service. It’s ridiculous. Regardless of the amount of time she has been at this location, she should care enough about the people purchasing her products to feign interest.

Amber: Your response to this situation is just as disappointing as my experience. I had absolutely no agenda to obtain any free merchandise. I simply asked a question about a product that I had previously purchased(before I purchased more) that went rancid. The answer that I received from your employee was belligerent and showed zero compassion and absolutely no customer service. As I said in my first review, the correct response would have been, «I am sorry. Bring in the remaining salts and let us take a whiff of them and see what we can do.» The reason I picked up the pre-made bath bombs was because I was skeptical to purchase anymore of the customized product because of the rancid bath salts and the lack of commitment from you to stand behind the products. I hope everyone who sees this message can read between the lines and notice that your tone with me is exactly the same attitude I received from your manager. It makes more sense now that I know the person you have in charge is only 17 years old and might not have the experience to handle objections and customer service issues. However, I would expect more from the owner of the business. Your tirade about my behavior is insulting and inaccurate. You misquoted my statements and spoke about my daughter which is unnecessary. I chose not to have a phone discussion with you because it was clear to me by your manager that it would involve conflict, which is unnecessary over bath salts. This was a simple issue with a simple resolution. You made the choice not to be helpful. Now, I will make the choice to do business elsewhere. No big deal.

So I’m late on this whole bath junkie bandwagon and didn’t know the process or anything about their products. I went in with a friend and was so lost. The sales associate who was working that day did not acknowledge me nor did she catch the blankness in my face. I finally just walked up to her and said I have no idea what I was doing. Then did she jump in and explain their products, the way things work and my options. I made some bubble bath mix, picked a green color and chose some suggested scents of rain and spring which was decent. It was like $ 25 after tax and I liked how they match your colored item with the same color tissue paper. The price was a little hefty considering this is bubble bath and I didn’t get any wow service while here so I’m definitely discouraged to come back and give the shop another go.

The customer service was horrible. Today was my third visit to this place, and every time the owner has had a bad attitude. The first time, I went in looking for something specific. She said she ordered them, and everything else in the order had come in, but not this. They should be in «soon». I asked if they have a call list for when products come in, since it’s not exactly close. She gave me the biggest attitude about it and basically said«yeah, we can, but…» and then never did. I don’t even know why I went back, but I did. The second time she was just negative to be around as well. Today, I had a coupon that apparently was misprinted. She started yelling at ME about it and it wasn’t even my fault! I asked her to stop yelling at me and she said she wasn’t, she was just mad at the company. I’m sorry, but since when does a customer need to hear an owner vent about something. And she didn’t accept it, would not make any exception, even though I was planning on spending more than the coupon. I told her it was horrible customer service and she said, and I quote, «the customer service is fine. I’ve been here 10 years. How many times have YOU been here?» Apparently only long time customers are worth being nice to. I will NEVER go back to this location, EVER.

I don’t always like smellin’ like a sweaty goat’s ball sack, so the occasional pleasant poultice is nice too. I went in with the ball-and-chain, high-maintence GF who has more«product» in *my* shower than Walmart has in their inventory. She just had to find the perfect Dead Sea Salt Pinky Toe Cuticle Scrub Infused with Unicorn Tears. While I was trying to stave-off a migrane from being barrated into differentiating Cantelope+Kiwi+Rain Forrest Elbow Balm from Lavender+Cinamon+Sunshine Earlobe Polish(«SMELLIT!»), I did manage to rub the water from my eyes long enough to notice they have stuff for dudes. I found some shavin’ stuff and Bath Junkie could could make it smell manly. Dirt? Got it. Cut Grass? Yep, that too. So it’s not all fru-fru. You could find some stuff to splash on to cover up the Strange before you do the Sunday Morning Walk of Shame, leaving some skank’s apartment. They even had to stuff to spray in your toilet pre-dookie to make your turds smell like cupcakes.

HOLYCRAP I smell good now. ;) This place makes custom bath products in all scents and colors. The sizes are pretty standard, 6oz for most stuff. I gotta warn you though, it’s freaking expensive. $ 18.50 for 6oz of lotion is a bit steep. I guess since you get to customize it, it’s sorta OK to splurge a bit. I would definitely keep my eyes open for Groupon deals since it does help out on the cost a bit. Their salt scrubs($ 30) are great and I really enjoy their vegetable oil based lotion more than their shea butter one(it absorbs better). For an extra $ 2 you can make the lotion glittery. Giving in to my inner stripper, I went for it. it’s definitely worth it. Their glitter is super fine and you get a light shimmer as opposed to big glitter flakes. :) This place is perfect for those who are picky with their scents. I went with their Chanel #5 wannabe. It’s a bit more floral than the actual fragrance but it’s perfect to layer with my perfume. It’s definitely and upgrade from my baby lotion. :]

I thought it was a weird name. Who’s addicted to baths anyway? Now, I, too, am a junkie. This store totally rocked my world and made baths fun again. Not only do they have the most amazing smelling bath products, if you hate those, you can make your own! Most of the products they sell, they make right in front of you. Add a little of this, a pinch of that, a dash more of this, oh wait let’s put a smidgen of that in… and BAM! You have the most«YOU» fragrance ever concocted. Once you experience the greatness of this store, you will never, ever step foot in what will then be considered«that other totally inferior bath and body store». Try it. Be one who knows what they really mean behind the title«Bath Junkie». Bath and Body Works who?
