Candlewood Suites Dallas Plano East Richardson

We are here working the recent hail storm. We try to stay at Candlewood Suites for the kitchen, fridge and pet friendly. Clean room and very nice, friendly staff. Enjoyed talking with Michael at the front desk. You might want to take a look at the side doors. Hard to open when you are exiting.
NOTE: The one thing I am EXTREMELY DISGUSTED with is the grass areas. I CANNOT believe there are so many inconsiderate people out there, mainly pet parents! CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET!!! Grow up and be responsible! The hotel even provides you with bags. I will also give blame to the hotel as well. You are providing a pet friendly hotel and unfortunately there are immature people out there that won’t take responsibility. You as a hotel, should make sure that the premises are not cluttered with trash and pet waste.

Staff were pretty friendly and helpful. The three stars was for our room. In our room the bedside lamp was broken and our toilet was running unless you messed with the handle or jiggled a few things in the tank. Kind of a pain. We informed the staff who said they would look into it but due to the holiday weekend, the maintenance staff were unavailable. The offer to change rooms was made but we decided against it.
The wifi also didn’t work for 90% of our stay. When I spoke with the staff about it they had the ISP contact me. I spent an hour on the phone with the provider only for them to tell me that it was an issue with their server, not our devices, which is what I originally thought. The customer service rep let us know they would reset the server remotely, but a day later we are still wifi less.
There’s a cool café with free wifi on K and 14^th. So we chilled there for a couple hours to get work done.
All in all a good stay but the room definitely needed some attention.
Ability to borrow appliances or board games is a neat service.

Our first experience with Candlewood and it has been great– we moved to the area and due to unforeseen circumstances had to extend our stay in the hotel– The manager, Kori has been so accommodating and the entire staff has been so pleasant! I would highly recommend this hotel for any length of stay.

Pretty cozy for your average hotel/​motel stay. I booked on
so I found some discrepancies in our booking accommodations as opposed to when we arrived on site. (IE: said breakfast was available on site, there is no breakfast, said some guests would need to pay for parking, but all parking is free here). Nevertheless, our room was clean comfortable and very very spacious. Since it is an extended stay room it comes equipped with a pretty decent sized kitchen. Stove, microwave sink, dishwasher and fridge. They’ve got a little store down stairs that works on the «honor system» and you can get food and goodies for your room down there. They also have a little area called the lending locker with extra kitchen appliances (think blenders for smoothies!), board games and other goodies. Our bed was clean and comforatble, the linens were quite plush and arranged nicely. The carpets even seemed relatively clean, one of my biggest pet peeves about staying away from home… (I always pack socks just incase!) The check in attendant was nice and we were in our room in a matter of minutes! Of course we are just on this side of town for a wedding in this area, so I don’t think we will be back frequently, but I would recommend this Candlewood Suites location to anyone!

The check in process was easy. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly. Overall, an enjoyable 3 night stay. They offer a free laundry room for people staying longer (they are an extended stay property). The in room appliances were all clean. Over all, a pleasant experience.
