I purchased a Groupon from Global Allergy Solutions to have my dryer vent cleaned — there were no restrictions on where the vent was located. When I set up the appointment I told him that the dryer vent is located on the roof. That didn’t seem to be an issue — he said that it would be an additional sum if they had to clean out a bird’s nest. The guy came out, cleaned the dryer vent from the roof and charged me an additional $ 350.00 on top of the Groupon price, even though there was no bird’s nest. This was triple the amount of the estimates that I received from other companies. Had I known that this company was unethical, I would have never used them. He didn’t clean up the lint that came out of the vent, left it laying on the floor behind the dryer. Beware!!!

This company is great, they came on time, friendly and professional team, cleaned all my air ducts for responsible price, the house smells great again, they also took care of the mold.

My experience with Global Allergy Solutions was good from start to finish. I called several companies to locate someone who could help with my clogged dryer vent. Global Allergy was the only company who actually ansered their phone. In all other cases, I had to leave a VM and then only one company eventually returned my call. Global Allergy came the same day I called, which was a great relief. The quote I received on the phone was the same amount charged at the completion of the service.
Galletto, the service agent, was knowledgeable, professional and amiable. I would use this company in the future.

VERY UNSATISFIED! The technician was unprofessional, unwilling to complete all items included in the living social voucher purchased, and partially performed the tasks. The technician appeared to be misleading in his assessment of the home claiming the air ducts included black mold, rust, and other defects when these air ducts have been cleaned within a year without any similar reports. It is logical to assume that he simply lied regarding the status of the air ducts an an attempt to induce further purchases. The technician attempted to charge an additional $ 75.00 for cleaning the dryer vent when the voucher expressly included such cleaning. When notified that the dryer vent cleaning was included, the technician complained about having to do so and did not do a thorough or professional job. The technician demanded a glass of water before he left the home, did not speak English well, and did not appear to know his trade. This was a complete waste of money as I did not get the services I purchased, and I certainly did not receive the courtesies extended in the other Unilocal reviews.

Gal came to my house and was very attentive to my request of being on time and cleaning up whatever mess he left. He also showed me before and after pictures of what my ducts looked like, which they were absolutely disgusting, and the cleaned ducts afterward. Thank you for your help with my allergies!
