We walked into the Allen Texas office next to hwy 75, and asked the office manager(no dental scrubs) if they accepted Aetna dental. Her answer was«you need to call them and find out». Finally, she dialed the number on our insurance card, and gave me the phone. I had to ask her the correct dentist name, etc. to use for the insurance. Aetna said that Monarch is covered. I got that setup while standing at the counter. I then I asked the Monarch manager if she accepts the bcbs dental plan. She said no(incorrect). I looked it up on the BCBS internet, and their office, dentist are listed. Since they finally accepted Aetna, and the visit is $ 5 with insurance, we scheduled a cleaning. After the daughter’s cleaning, Monarch wanted to schedule another cleaning before she could see the orthodontist that is not covered by insurance($ 250). We went to another large dental organization(Apple), and only told the dentist that we had a cleaning done in the last two months. The office manager(or receptionist) knew they accepted Aetna, took our card, and handled the rest before our appointment. They also knew they accepted BCBS dental without hesitation. The cleaning and x-rays were free at Apple. And they did not request another more extensive cleaning.

This was unfortunately very disappointing I wanted to like the place cause the staff and the doctor where very nice which is why I gave it any stars but the whole thing seemed like they where playing dentist the RDA that did my families x rays was very rough unknowingly when I did want to do the treatment they didn’t have all the supplies needed to do them I can just hope after they have enough practice they will be better sweet staff just not enough experience

This office is unbelievable. If you are reading this and you are like I was scared of the dentist then you should run not walk to this dental office. The RDA(Ruth) is the best at what she does. The dentist Dr. Greene should be a teacher at a dental school. But it is difficult if not impossible to teach compassion. If I had met a dentist like Dr. Greene earlier in life I wouldn’t have such poor oral health as I do now. I have had such bad experiences thru out my life that I prayed before I went to this dental office. Believe me when I tell you the Lord answers prayers this office was a GOD sent blessing for me. So I had to take a minute to write this review so that anyone else in the area who needs a dentist will be sure to know that this is the best office around.

Went as a new customer for xray + cleaning + exams because my insurance changed & so I was in search of a new dentist. Pros: Ample parking Dr. Thu Phan was very friendly and professional and gentle with my teeth. Mary did a good job cleaning(she wasn’t very gentle on my sensitive teeth, it hurt like crazy; but at least they felt clean after) Cons: I scheduled for xray, exam, and cleaning but when I got to the office, they didn’t seem to know that I needed a cleaning & wanted me to come in another day(if only my work was that accommodating… evidently, there is a communication problem with Monarch Dental because another girl came in and said she scheduled something & they couldn’t find her in the schedule, so she had to reschedule. I would be annoyed!) Took over 2 hours for the xrays, exam, and cleaning. Went in early, at 9:20, was scheduled for 9:30… didn’t leave until 11:45. I don’t know if this is normal but they charge patients $ 40 for fluoride veneer & $ 30 for fluoride gel. My previous dentist gave me fluoride rinse for $ 5… which was what I wanted, but they said that fluoride rinse was not an option. Didn’t offer any of the normal goodies like a floss, toothbrush, and paste. Overall… it was decent, but not a great experience.
