Papa John’s Pizza

Good on regular days. Mediocre on busy days. My problem with this location is that no one wears gloves.

I’ve had pizza from here before years ago, and it was so so. I hate the sauce. However, this isn’t about the pizza. My husband and I were on our way home, close to the corner of Parkhurst and McDermott. As we cam upon Parkhurst, one of the driver’s came to the intersection, did not stop, looked right at my car and preceded to continue through the intersection as though we weren’t seconds away from colliding. At that point, I noticed that he had the papa johns logo on his car, so I made a u turn when I had the chance and headed in the direction of the store. We ended up behind him and another driver in a different vehicle. When the light changed, he sped through the turn and turned into the parking lot with no signal at all. I went in and spoke to the manager who I believed at first would actually handle the situation as he was very contrite and apologetic. That is, until I went to the car, and the same driver flew past me again. I went back in the store to advise the manager, who at that point shrugged it off, so I will be contacting corporate. As for ordering anything from there, they can forget it. If they have driver’s like that on the road, I don’t want them bringing me anything and possibly killing someone in the process. I also plan to make sure no one else I know orders from them either.

Good pizza. Horrid web site. Have missed several free pizzas since ordering on web site typically not working. If you need a new password, plan on waiting 15 minutes. Sometimes easier and better pizza than Papa John’s driving to local restaurant.

They made a mistake with it being carry out instead of delivery. An hour later i had to send my daughter to pick it up. They made the order again fresh with no charge and I hadn’t even complained. Turned my frown upside down! Thanks for rectifying the error :)

I never have a bad experience here with carry out. but with delivery, they have always forgotten something or got something wrong. So I just stick to carry out. It can take pretty long on the weekends, but otherwise. my order has always been ready within 10 – 15 minutes. Great location, right on the corner of McDermott & Custer in the Kohl’s parking lot. By far my favorite chain pizza.

Great pizza ad friendly service. Zero problems in over 3 years of getting pizza here. Dominos sometimes has better deals but Papas does reward points and love the free dipping sauce!
